Peaceful, quiet, charming, this new Guesthouse/Casita in a private compound off of Acequia Madre offers a beautiful retreat in the heart of Santa Fe's historic Eastside. Architect designed in traditional Santa Fe style, with smooth plaster walls, fine woodwork, high beamed ceilings and skylights, the bright, comfortably furnished interior overlooks a lush garden planted to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Help yourself to fresh herbs from the garden if you feel like cooking, or try one of one of Santa Fe's many outstanding restaurants instead. Enjoy a stroll along the 400 year old Acequia Madre, right outside your door.
One block from Canyon Road galleries, shops and restaurants, a short walk from the Plaza, downtown, Museum Hill, and the Railyard, take off from here to explore the best of Santa Fe on foot, through one of the most distinctive historic neighborhoods in the country. Don't hassle with parking during tourist season or special events like Indian Market or the Folk Art Festival. On Christmas Eve, walk out your front door to join in Santa Fe's spectacular Farolito Walk. A wonderful place to visit any time of the year!

A small haven within a larger haven (Santa Fe). I always felt it was like coming home.
Thank you Peg & Ken for it all.

We have lived in Santa Fe since 1993. As architects and artists, we love the aesthetic appeal of Santa Fe's unique historic district and chose to live in this neighborhood because of that. Santa Fe's small town atmosphere combined with its wide range of cultural opportunities fits our lifestyle. We also appreciate the natural beauty of the area and the easy access to hiking, cycling, and winter sport opportunities.
We think this location is simply the best in Santa Fe. Our guesthouse is tucked away in a lovely private compound in a beautiful, unique neighborhood, and provides easy access to all that Santa Fe has to offer.
One reason we chose to live in this spot is because we love to walk around Santa Fe. From our home we are minutes (on foot) from Canyon Road, the Downtown Subscription, the Plaza, museums and all of the shops, galleries, restaurants, and homes along the way.
Santa Fe hosts many unique annual events. Music lovers enjoy the Santa Fe Opera and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. Art lovers can attend Indian Market, the International Folk Art Festival, Art Santa Fe, Spanish Market, SOFA West, the Santa Fe Film Festival, plus photography, clay and painting workshops.
The Santa Fe Ski Basin is a 30 minute drive away (winter snowboarding, downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding). Within minutes are 30 miles of hiking trails, the Audubon Center, and 10,000 Waves Japanese Health Spa. Visit nearby Native American Pueblos and archeological sites.
