You asked & we listened. We've added a 42' flat screen TV, Free Broadband Internet and recently installed a huge 1,000 sq ft pool deck to maximize the sun for most of the day. Most Marco Island homes have either very little area for 'laying out' near the pool or get very little sunshine. Our pool area faces the 'all important' south direction for maximum sunshine. We have extra outdoor lounge chairs & tables to relax around the large 20x40 foot, heated, in-ground pool. Our premium 4 bdrm/4.5 bath home (originally built for Richard Nixon) is located the end of a peaceful cul de sac. This house is owned by a couple specializing in international real estate who have travelled all over the world. This house is well maintained. In the last three years they have replaced practically all the bedroom furniture & sheets, appliances and flooring. See below for a very detailed description of the layout of the house.

  • You asked & we listened. We've added: - a HUGE 1,000 square foot pool sun deck to maximize the sun (pictures below) - a 42' flat screen TV, - Free Broadband Internet. Most Marco Island homes have either very little area for 'laying out' near the pool or get very little sunshine. Our pool area faces the 'all important' south direction for maximum sunshine. We have extra lounge chairs & tables to relax around the large 20x40 foot, heated, in-ground pool. Tennis facilities and some of the best public golf courses in the United States are nearby. The Island has two or three marinas where you can rent a boat (cruiser or pontoon) for the day to check out the inland waterways and picnic on the Gulf beaches or go up to Naples. The Everglades National Park is a 30 minute drive. There are several spas on the island for those interested in a relaxing massage. There is a yoga studio nearby that offers several yoga classes to the public and there is also a very nice YMCA on the island.

  • Our house is constantly being updated/upgraded. In the last three years we have replaced all the furniture in the bedrooms (except one high quality dresser that was saved for sentimental reasons). All the bedrooms have been newly carpeted (except the hardwood floor in the upstairs bedroom). We have recently purchased high quality new sheets. All bedrooms have private entrance to bathrooms and are equipped with dresser, 20-inch Cable TVs (some with DVDs) and alarm clocks. All the appliances including the washer and dryer have been replaced in the past two years. The living room, dining room and kitchen have either new tile or laminate wood flooring. The kitchen is very modern with a wonderful breakfast bar that overlooks the pool. This premium property is located in a prestigious neighbourhood and is a 5 minute drive (10 minutes by bicycle) to Marco Island's fabulous 3 mile powdery white sand beaches. The property has water access to the superb inland waterways of Marco Island.

Notes: The layout of the house is fantastic with 3 different buildings in an L-shape design (all under one roof) built around the pool. The main building has the living room, formal dining room, kitchen, the master bedroom and bathroom. The living room has a 42-inch flatscreen TV with VCR & DVD player. One of the walls in the living room is all windows that overlooks the pool area so people can sit in the living room and visit while still being able to keep an eye on people in the pool area. There are 2 sofas, a love seat, and a recliner so there is plenty of places to sit. The dining room has a formal dining table and 10 chairs. The kitchen has the standard amenities including a microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and coffee maker. The second building has 3 bedrooms with 2.5 more bathrooms - one of the bath and bedrooms is located upstairs. Every bedroom has a private entrance to a bathroom. The third building consists of a 2-car garage, laundry room and another bathroom.

My family of 7 and several "drop in friends" stayed December 28 through end of January, 2009. We travel extensively throughout the world and must say this home/pool/setting is head and shoulders above anything else we have ever experienced. AND, that was before the major rennovation work that was done in 2009. We can't wait to return to this "home away from home" to soak in the sun and fun. It doesn't get any better than this.

The Best Place In Marco Island

Awesome! We stayed here in September 2009 and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this house. We have been coming down to Marco Island for over 15 years and our normal rental house was recently sold so we looked for a new place in Marco Island this year and wished we would have changed long ago. This house has so many great amenities and the layout was very unique but worked very well with our needs. It sits on a wonderful lot with wonderful views either from the kitchen, pool or living room. The pool was fantastic and the sun deck was perfect. The reservation person was easy to work with and easy to get in touch with. We would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a true relaxing get-away with lots of privacy and solitude. Our only complaint is that we wanted to bring our dog but the owner is allergic to dogs and cats so we weren't able to bring her. However my wife is also allergic to cats so we understood. Marco Island is such a special place and we look forward to coming here in the future.

What a wonderful home!

We have just returned from a week's holiday at this special home and feel as though we must leave a recommendation to anyone thinking of renting this villa. we (two adults and two children, aged 6 and 7) thoroughly enjoyed staying at Marco Island after having a crazy ten days at the parks. This home is in a great location, its very peaceful and yet although quiet there was still some fantastic things to do on the island. We loved the decor through-out the villa, the owners obviously travel hence the thought that has gone into each room is well thought through. It was spotless when we arrived and i would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely home to couples, families and groups of people as there is a great deal of space to find some peace!
