Brand New (2011) light and airy 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath beach bungalow. Quiet retreat steps from one of only three nationally certified 'clean beaches' on the Great Lakes, and the largest white sand beach in West Michigan. Start your day walking or fishing off the channel, watching the boats cruise by. Afternoons are great spent playing on the all white sand beach and in the clear waters of Lake Michigan. Evenings are wonderful watching the famous Western Michigan sunsets while strolling out to the Red Lighthouse at the end of Pere Marquette. Or, stay home and relax on the huge front porch, enjoying the Lake Michigan Breezes.

Master bedroom on the first floor, fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Enjoy the fireplace in the family room on those cooler nights at the beach. Have fun heading out to the back deck to grill, or go down to the fire pit to make late light s'mores!

Great 'beach forest' steps from the house, explore the dunes all the way to Muskegon Lake. Walk down to the Channel to the Historic National Submarine, Sliversides, and take a tour.

Michigan Adventure Theme Park/Water Park, Craig's Cruisers (go carts and miniature golf), Ice Cream Shoppes, Lake Side Emporium Candy, Harbour Towne Theatre, The Frauenthal Theater, 6 State Parks, all easy distances away. Cross Lake Ferry, Boat Charters - fishing and sailing, kite surfing and stand up paddle board lessons offered at Pere Marquette Beach. Catch the local trolley on Beach Street and for 25 cents you can visit local tourist spots. Hiking, birding and dune walks available in the dunes of nearby (12 minute drive) Hoffmaster State Park. Duck Lake State Park is a great family destination and a 'locals' hang out for skim boarding and swimming with smaller children.

Check with the Chamber of Commerce for the many seasonal events and festivals along the lake shore area. We will have local interest information for you at the house.

A last minute weekend away in this beautiful beach house is just what the doctor ordered! No work, no pagers, no school work, just time for leasurely reading, a drink, a fire and lots of conversation. The owners were incredibly accomadating and helpful. Great Beach House

This is not a cottage by any means but a beautiful beach home. It was far more than my dream of a getaway. And I thank the Reed's for sharing it. My family and I were so impressed by the detail that was taken to make everyone, all ages, comfortable. Games, toys, cookware, candles, books, movies, tourist info, etc., it was all there. The photos do not capture the warmth and charm. The only thing missing was more sunshine. We cannot wait to visit again.

Best-Ever Beach House

Bonny and Rob have really created something special here. Their home is new, bright and airy, well-equipped AND clean. We loved the front porch with rattan seating, the back-porch gas grill and a fire pit in the backyard. The inside floor plan works really well for family meals and activities like doing crossword puzzles by the fireplace or watching the DNC convention on the large-screen TV downstairs. We're experienced summer home renters so we know a gem when we see it. We'll be back. Susan and family from Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and Muskegon

AWESOME Beach House

My family loved every minute of our Muskegon Beach vacation. We spent a day at Michigan's Adventure, near by Duck Lake and the beautiful Lake Michigan right across from this home. The house could not have been more perfect for our family. It was new, super clean and gorgeous. The owners shared/supplied all of the needed amenities.
The beach sand front yard and bon-fire pit in the back added to our family fun.
Great, Great home. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Home!!

We had two families stay in July 2012 and we had a wonderful time! This house quickly turned to a home for us - the owners have stocked this home more than was expected, with premium kitchen supplies, games, books, movies, and lots and lots of towels! Though you expect much of this, the quality of the home (new construction) and that was contained within really surprised us.

The front porch and sand yard was perfect for the young one with us. When the shade hits, it is a perfect place to relax. The backyard was also wonderful.

The walk to the beach is a little long (though it is right across the street - the beach at that point is SOOO big, it takes a bit to walk to the water. But the sand is so soft, and the beach never felt crowded. It is also a quick walk to a nearby restaurant - Dockers. Quick drives to grocery and other shopping.

All in all it was a really great stay, plenty of room, great amenities, and we would definitely stay again.
