Victorian Cottage, 6 bedrooms, 2.5 Baths ( Sleeps 12)

Located on the North Shore of Round Island, (boat access only) you'll enjoy spectacular sunsets, astounding fishing, swimming and relaxing time with the family. The island also has access to a tennis court, hiking trails and water recreation galore.

Children and adults alike will enjoy seeing ships from the world traveling the main river channel. Everyday you and your guest will view wildlife on both the island and other nature trails available throughout the area.

More attractions: ( in Clayton) The Antique Boat Museum, Clayton Opera House, Clayton Boat Tours, Numerous Fishing Charters, T.I. Museum, and many shops at some unique stores. ( Nearby) the world famous Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Wellesley Island Nature Center, The Frederick Remington Art Museum, ferry boat ride to Canada and Much much more....

Many weekend shows i.e. regional antique, automobile, miniture railroads,stamp & coin show as added atractions.

Spring, Summer and Fall are wonderful times to visit the 1000 Islands. You can still experience island life, tranquility, fishing, hunting, and watching the leaves change. You can spend either a week, month ( discount 10%) First two weekends in May and Last two weekends in September we offer 4 day special. We are now accepting bookings for our 2013 season. Check current availablity.

If you need a boat rental, you can contact Clayton Marina or French Creek Marina. For your convenience, we can offer mainland dock at Spicer's Marina.

About Cajsa Sheen

My sister's family and I are the owners of this Victorian cottage. We grew up in the summer in the 1000 Islands. My family would spend time with my grandparents at this location. Over the years we have made many memories for us to enjoy.

We have been traveling to Clayton NY for over 40 years. Actually our family members have been traveling to Clayton for over 100 years. We feel that it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We continue annual updates to the property while mantaining it's historic charm.

What makes this cottage unique

Clayton is a small town with lots of history for your family to enjoy. The cottage has a great view of the main channel and it is on a friendly island with rich history. The screen porch is a great feature for those rainy days as well as nice days. You can have dinner while watching many water activites and gorgeous sunsets.

There is a tennis court located on the island for everyone's use. We have tennis rackets and balls for your use. There is also a working Post office on the island which provides a mailbox for our monthly visitors. We also have a community room in the post office for activities such as boating course, yoga, special events or island get together. Hiking trail around the entire island.
