A self catering rental with two bedrooms, sleeps 6

This apartment is well situated in a small quiet complex close to a family friendly beach and a Marina which includes restaurants, bars and a mini-market. There are two sizeable balconies with stunning views of both the marina and beach and dining al fresco is recommended. It is within a few minutes walk of two of the finest unspoilt beaches on the Costa del Sol. It is a split level apartment on the second floor serviced by two lifts. There are free parking facilities. Alternatively there is a local taxi service nearby and good public transport within easy reach. There are two bedrooms both with twin beds, built-in wardrobes, the downstairs bathroom includes a washing-machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with the usual amenities. The lounge has a large comfortable sofa-bed (double) plus a dining room table and chairs that can cater for six. There is digital TV with access to UK channels. There is also a DVD and CD player. There are two free standing fans in the bedrooms.

The Beach: Cabopino has a large sandy beach which is ideal for swimming for both adults and children (Blue EEC flag), The life-guards are on duty throughout the summer making it a child-friendly and safe beach. The sand is well maintained, clean and of superior quality to the other beaches on the Costa Del Sol making Cabopino the ideal place for children. Chiringitos (beach side bars and restaurants are plentiful) and renowned for their friendly atmosphere.

Apart from this there is a naturalist beach some O.5km to the West (West Beach) which backs onto sand dunes.

Eating out: There is an extraordinary variety of restaurants locally and within the vicinity of the flat catering for all tastes (11 within walking distance). If desired there are plenty of places to go and eat outside Cabopino,such as Mijas, Fuengirola, and Marbella all offering excellent cuisine.

The nearest towns are Marbella with its charming old town and exclusive shops and Fuengirola. Both can be easily reached by either public transport or taxi. Fuengirola is noted for its wide choice of restaurants, shops and bars. Fuengirola also has a long sandy beach together with a water park recommended as an enjoyable family trip.

There is also twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday a large open-air market at Mijas Costa, 8km away, highly recommended.

Great holiday, lovely apartment. Weather was brilliant and it was wonderful to wake up to see the sun rising over the balcony. We love Andy's Bar (and the fish kebab) and Jorges Bar. No need to stray far from Cabopino - everything is here! Can't wait to return - will be for longer this time.

What a brilliant holiday we had in Puerto Cabopino! Thank you.

The apartment is in a fantastic location with the pool and beautiful beach right on your door step. We found the accommodation spacious, light and airy, plenty of room for our party of 6. It felt like home from home - we were very comfortable during our weeks stay. All facilities were as described and as the photos on the website with a number of brochures for days out to water parks etc. The views of the beach and mariner were beautiful. It was lovely and relaxing eating lunch on the balcony.

There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from, we were spolit for choice and also a useful mini-mart to stock up on the essentials. For a bigger shop there is a Lidl store a short journey from the apartment.

We spent our days between the private swimming pool and beach, our only problem is that the week went too quickly!!!

A great holiday for all.

We would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely visit again.

FANTASTIC TIME

What a fantastic place for a family holiday. It was one of our best holidays and we intend going back next year, although the calendar is looking pretty booked up already! The apartment was perfect for us and being on 3 levels felt very spacious. The kitchen was typically small but well equipped and perfect for preparing breakfast and lunch. The views were lovely from both balconies and if you left the door open to the top bathroom how lovely it was to have a morning shower and see the sun glistening on the sea. We also liked the fact that you didn't have to get upon at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed around the pool, as they were allocated when we first visited the pool and were ours fo rthe remainder of the holiday. It was also very handy having the pool so near to the apartment and we felt at east letting our 7 year old daughter swim alone with the lifeguard and the security gates. Cabopino is perfect day or night for just watching the world go by and not too far away from places of interest if you can be bothered! There are several supermarkets nearby and we would recommend stocking up as the little shop on site was very expensive. The resort does not have too many restaurants but they are all excellent, our favourite was Dispensa. The beach was nice but cramped if you didn't get a bed near the sea. Finally, all that goes to say is a big thank you to Sue for being so friendly and helpful. The shower was sorted out in a day when it broke and as we had a late flight home but had to depart the apartment by mid-day, Sue very kindly found us another apartment to use for the day, which meant we could spend it relaxing around the pool and freshen up before our journey home.

We loved it and can't wait to go again, just such a hassle free holiday from booking it. Lindsay, Paul & Scarlett x

Myself and my family have just returned from Keith and Pats apartment.
The apartment is spacious, clean and very well equipped.
The views from the balconies are stunning, the gardens and pool are very well maintained, as is the building and lifts.
Pat replied to all my emails extremely promptly, and i would have no hesitation in renting this property again.

We had a great family holiday in this apartment. Everything worked out great and we found the apartment spacious. The kitchen, which is typically spanish and small, had everything we needed as we tended to cook in lots. There were plenty of cutlery, plates, glasses etc so we. Lovely views from the apartment where you could enjoy a relaxing afternoon from the balcony.
We will definately return to this aparment. Thanks Pat.

The nearest towns are 8 miles away Marbella and Fuengirola both excellent for shopping trips as well as having a good night life. The area of Andalucia has a lot to offer the tourist reflected in its people, customs and architecture. Coach tours are available, taking in Rhonda, Cordoba, Granada , Alhanmbra, Gibraltar and even North Africa. These trips can be booked locally in Calahonda.
