A Beautifully Crafted and Clean Experience

  • 5 of 5
My family's stay at the Greenhouse was simply delightful! The home is tucked away in a beautiful and serene setting nestled upon the soothing sounds of a babbling brook. (The home itself was extremely clean.) The rustic decor provided a sense of coziness and and warmth. Grace is extremely accommodating and wonderful to collaborate with before, during, and after the stay.

If you are staying during the summer months, check-out Bubby's Burrito Stand across the way. It is absolutely delicious and a great experience! :)

Great location for Bard College visit

  • 5 of 5
Accommodated our group of 6 very comfortably with spacious common areas; property is well equipped, accurately described and photos do not do it justice--it is more attractive than photos suggest; grounds were very well kept; superb location near Bard, Red Hook, Tivoli, Rhinebeck, Rhinecliff (Amtrak station); owner lives close by and was easily available but totally unobtrusive; highly recommend

Great accommodations. I came with my wife, mother in law and brother and sister in law and everyone enjoyed the house. Everything was as promised and really enjoyed the porch fronting the stream. Loved it! Ken

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5
My fiancé and I have stayed at the Green House on 3 occasions this past year. We live in NYC and were looking for a house that we could escape to on weekends when we needed some rest and relaxation. Once we found the Green House, we decided to keep going back as we found it was perfect for our needs. The house is cozy and has every amenity you’d need to cook/grill a meal if you decide to stay in. If you are more in the mood to go out - there are many delicious restaurants to choose from in Red Hook and the neighboring towns. Our favorite was Santa Fe (Mexican) in a nearby town called Tivoli, about a 7 minute drive from the house. We especially loved our first visit this summer when the Spiegel Tent was at Bard College. We got to see a great performance in the tent and then stayed for the afterhours dance party! It was an absolute blast, and the best part was it was located about 5 minutes from the Green House! We came back to the house after and drank cocktails on the porch, while watching the lightening bugs over the stream. It was fantastic! I would highly recommend the Green House if you’re looking for a getaway.

My husband and I recently spent an overnight at "The Green House" and it was wonderful! The home is spacious, warm and welcoming! The owners, Mark and Grace are lovely people. The Red Hook area is beautiful and full of charming restaurants and eclectic shops. The "Green House" is the perfect place to stay while in this delightful area! Highly recommend

So comfortable, it felt like home!

  • 5 of 5
A group of friends and I recently stayed in the "little green cottage", as we referred to it, and had a fabulous time. The cottage was spacious enough that the five of us could have our own space when we needed a moment of privacy while being comfortable and cozy to the point it just felt like home.

We certainly had all the comforts of home, right down to the Keurig coffee machine. The cottage was perfect and Grace was wonderful to work with. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we're in Red Hook!
