Enjoy quaint and quiet Little Gasparilla Island, a bridgeless, roadless barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico located between Sarasota and Naples. There are sandy paths and golf cart trails on the island. There are no cars, stores, or restaurants!
Gulf Street stretches from the bay to the gulf, and our house is almost midway. From the dock you’ll have a short walk to our stilt home with its large deck for relaxing. A dock cart is provided for getting your supplies to the house. The beach is a short walk from the house in the opposite direction! There is a beach access directly at the end of the lane. Enjoy nature, 7 miles of beautiful, uncrowded beaches, and a relaxing, tropical setting!
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath house has a king-sized bed and 2 twin beds upstairs, along with a bathroom, living area and kitchen.
The downstairs bedroom suite is not accessible from upstairs, so it truly offers privacy! The suite has a private entrance with a deck that leads to a spacious bedroom with a king bed, a private bathroom, and a sitting area with a flat-screen TV.
Relax in the hammock, read or visit with friends and family on the spacious upstairs deck!
The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, coffee bean grinder, coffee maker, and blender. All linens are provided, as well as a supply of basic paper and storage items. A cooler, beach chairs and towels, an umbrella and beach toys are provided. Pack light!
Leave your car at the marina, and take a 10 minute ride via the water taxi, or bring your boat and use our dock! Transportation is not necessary on Little Gasparilla Island; however golf cart rental is available through a separate party, if you don't want to explore on foot.
The beach is beautiful. Great shells and petrified sharks' teeth can be found. If you walk 1.75 miles south, you'll end up at the southernmost tip of the island. A mile north of our access is Don Pedro State Park. You can walk further north (about 4 miles) to the northern tip of the island.
Fish from the dock or the beach, and if you have a boat, you are surrounded by some of Florida's greatest fishing spots. It's not unusual to see dolphins, gopher tortoises, osprey, wading birds, manatees, and bald eagles.

Ken and Diana have been coming to the island for over 23 years. We became owners on the island with friends in 1999, and made many great memories with our son, our families, and friends. We enjoy fishing, kayaking, and walking the beach. We rent the 'Seafanz' house, and we live on the same lane, so we are often here to answer questions or meet our guests!
We love Gulf Street with its single-family homes and privacy. The lane connects the dock on the bayside to the beach on the Gulf. It is a narrow part of the island.
Our guests have always enjoyed the tropical view from the deck, and we have had many state the downstairs private suite is ideal for traveling couples/families. After a warm day in the sun or out on the water, it is a relaxing, quiet 'home' in which to return.
