Centrally located halfway between Ellsworth and the town of Bar Harbor and less than 20 minutes from Acadia National Park, and the Hulls Cove Visitor's center. Hike and bike or enjoy the scenic Loop Road en route to Jordan Pond, Sand Beach and Thunder Hole.
The cottage features 200' of private shore - sunbathe, beachcomb, or rent a kayak or canoe. Two decks for outdoor dining and relaxing. Fenced-in yard is great for the kids and your small family dog to run around too!
Four bedrooms including 1 King Master BR with sitting area and own bath, 1 Queen, 1 bedroom with 2 full beds on the 3rd floor, and 1 bedroom with 2 twins on the first floor. First floor also features living and dining rooms, kitchen and 1/2 bath.

The town of Ellsworth is just 11 miles up the road with quaint shops, and restaurants. Pick up fresh, local produce at the Ellsworth Farmer's Market or visit the historic Woodlawn Museum.
Mount Desert Island and Bar Harbor (11 miles) feature numerous shops, movie theater and dining (favorites by far are Cafe This Way and McKays or head to Town Hill Bistro in Town Hill). Go for a boat ride and enjoy the fresh ocean air.
Attractions: Whether you have kids or not, check out Diver Ed, who launches daily excursions from the College of the Atlantic (20 minutes). It's a fantastic, must do activity. Other favorites include Pirates Cove Adventure Miniature Golf and Abbe Museum.
After your day of hiking Cadillac Mountain, biking the carriage roads or strolling through Bar Harbor, come home to Western Bay Shores - cook up your fresh lobsters by the sounds of the bay, have a campfire on the beach and relax!
