The cottage is located in the Berkshires on a quiet winding road. Majority of cottages are owner occupied. Therefore you get the privacy & relaxation without the crowds. All the Berkshire attractions are within a scenic drive. Endless activities for the entire family. Something for everyone. The lake is high in minerals which leaves your hair & skin feeling silky smooth. The lake does not show up on tourist maps, so you have private enjoyment.I love waking up in the morning, with my cup of coffee & going around lake in the morning dew. Beaver, Otters, Birds, and Fish greet you along your way. Then take a sunset cruise before BBQ on the deck & gathering around the fire pit.The cottage has electric heat & wood burning fireplace so it can be enjoyed year round. The cottage is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. I can assure you, your entire family will create some wonderful memories here. You will be back again & again. It's convenient, private, a guaranteed Berkshire experience.

I am originally from Michigan and used to spend time in at our cottage Traverse City area and have nothing but great memories. I purchased cottage for my family to create their own memories.

I fell in love with the Berkshires. The lake is cristal clear and I enjoy sailing, swimming, fishing, Kayaking, and more... There is something very special about the area and no matter what the weather, there is always something to do.

You are close to all the Berkshires attractions yet you are slightly off the tourest area. Most homes are owner occupied therefore the lake is never crowded. You can truly relax and enjoy the water.

You can send check or money orderto pay in full or pay half to book time frames and balance in cash upon arrival. If you prefer another method, just ask.
Fees And Taxes There is no cleaning fee. There is tax. I try to avoid a security deposit. I would prefer the $49.00 insurance fee available through Homeaway. I am easy to work with and will try to come up with something that works for all.
There are variables during the year. Please do not hesitate to let me know what works for you and I will try to accomodate. I am very easy to work with.

Notes: There is an additional small game table with ping pong and pool. There are cards and board games like chess and checkers. If you have any questions, just ask. There are two Kayak style conoes that are available for a min additional cost of $20. each per day. These are Top of the line Hobbie brand and alows you to enjoy the lake for fishing, excerscise, recreation or sunset/sunrise cruize. See photo's. Highly recommend.

Scott, the owner, took the time to come meet us upon arrival and show us around and make personal suggestions to enhance our vacation with age appropriate activities. This was great as it took the guess work out of how to operate appliances and where to find items. Our children loved all his suggested activities which made it an enjoyable vacation for everyone. (cliff jumping at the quarries was a favorite!) It is located in a beautiful area with plenty to do and see. Scott has thought of everything you need to make your stay comfortable. All the neighbors are very pleasant. Our dog had a great time as well. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a memorable family vacation!

What a great spot!

We had an amazing time at this cottage. Just a two minute walk through the woods to the lake. The whole area is beautiful. Our dog spent the entire time swimming and had the time of his life. Don't miss out on taking the kayaks around the lake to enjoy the whole area!

Perfect Familoy Re-Connecting Vacation

Scott, the owner, was very prompt in his responses to emails and text messages. The cabin is just as it is described. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. We wanted for nothing as the cabin is fully stocked inside and out. We enjoyed the lake, kobies, grilling and eating out on the picnic table. The firepit, tiki torches, log stools and extra lawn chairs completed the stay. The cabin is located very close to Jacob's Pillow, which was the main attraction for our vacation. But we soon realized we were also within close proximity to a quarry for some old fashion swimming hole fun. My 52 year old husband even jumped 45 feet into the quarry, which prompted the college age kids to give it a try. We were also able to shop at the outlet mall,hike the Applachian Trail and visit the Norman Rockwell Museum. The lack of a television set was a welcome break. Again, kudos to the owner for encouraging us to relax and enjoy the cabin. We certainly did and it was a great opportunity to reconnect with sibilings, nieces and nephews. I am definitely recommending this spot.

Fantastic Vacation rental!

This cabin was perfect for My family vacation!
Scott was a pleasure to deal with, and took the time to show us all around the property, and lake area.
The cabin was super clean, and very comfortable, and is outfitted with everything you'll need, including a gas grill, every type of household item (pots,pans,towels..you name it!)
If you can tear yourself away from the beautiful lake, you'll find the surrounding area offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment.
I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to get away from it all, and still have everything you want within a short, picturesque ride.

Great Cabin

Scott, the host, is a very nice laid back owner who drove up to give us a tour of the cabin and show us the little trail to the lake. The cabin is very comfortable with all the amenities right there.
We sat near the lake and spoke to the neighbors who were really sociable and nice people. We would recommend the cabin to anyone needing some time to unwind and enjoy the woods and beautiful lake.
