Fantastic Family Vacation - with room to spare
My family (husband & two kids ages: 5 & 3) and I vacation in the white mountains annually for a week (usually Bartlett, Conway side), and this year decided to stay on the Lincoln side. We found this condo on Homeaway, and had the best vacation yet! The owner was wonderful to talk to and work with. He was always just an email or quick call away with any questions we had. He shared his extensive knowledge of the area, had great suggestions and provided that info in the condo as well. What I liked best, was that he and his family enjoys vacationing here too, it wasn't just an investment for them.
The condo is on the 2nd floor, on a corner - super quiet & you get great views from all the rooms, especially the large deck. The air conditioning in the main area and master bedroom worked fantastic to cool the entire condo down (leaving the doors open), as we had some really hot days, it was so nice to come home too. Fans in the bedrooms provied more if you needed it, and for us it was for white noise in the kids room at night. This condo is also located close to the pools (indoor and out) and the clubhouse (you just had to walk across the lot and a grassy knoll to get there, which made it easy with the kids. Its tucked far back in from Rt. 112, so you don't hear any road noise. Plus, it slowly climbs as you get to where this condo is - making the views amazing. The entire complex is set up that way (unlike others right on Rt. 112/Rt.3 - that don't mention that part).
The place was super clean, beds were new - master bed was a king size simmons bed with foam - firm and dreamy. The couches were also new and very comfy for our double feature movie nights (the condo had a ton of movies!).The building itself was very quiet, and it didn't seem like many of the other units in the building were renter units (we noticed across the street a slew of cars, in and out where most days our entire building was just us! Even when we'd noticed others, we never heard anyone or anything that disturbed us even once, all week.
Overall, it was such a great experience. Staying on the Lincoln side was great too, as there isn't the traffic of N.Conway, and there are so many restaurants within a short drive. If you have small kids, sometimes just a trip to the grocery store can be an hour commute in conway. This worked out much better for us :)
Thanks for making this such a special vacation for us! We will be staying here again I'm sure :)
