4 bedroom luxury chalet , sleeping up to 8, highest standard, new, modern

The Chalet No. 7 in the Racer`s Retreat has been built on a sunny slope in the area of the Schiltwald. From your balcony and terrace you will enjoy a marvellous view to the mountains and into the Lauterbrunnen valley.

From the centre of Wengen (railway station, shops, Maennlichen cable car station etc.) it takes you approx. 20 minutes on foot to the chalet or you can catch a taxi which drives you to the chalet. In winter the ski slopes and the Innerwengen chairlift is at a distance of approx. half a mile.

The chalet is in a very quiet and idyllic place with an incomparable quietness and an impressive view to the mountains. Suitable for all how like to be far away from the everyday hassle, but not too far. If you wish to enjoy it daily and if you do not mind the walk the chalet No. 7 in the Racer's Retreat will be just right for you!

The modern and bright Chalet with its 5½ rooms is on four floors and has got a surface of approx. 120m2.

General information. Wengen is located on a natural, sunny terrace, protected from the wind and is scattered way beyond the alpine terrace ascending to the east, around five hundred metres over the Lauterbrunnen Vallex. It nestles in the heart of Switzerland and at the foot of the snow-covered triumvirate of 4,000 m peaks, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Even the most creative of painters could not have imagined such an impressive backdrop. The ice-covered peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Breathtaking and unique the world over.

You can’t reach Wengen directly by car. You have to park your vehicle in Lauterbrunnen and take the train operated by the Wengener Alp Bahn (WAB) to Wengen. The journey takes about 15 minutes.

Wengen is also easy to reach in approx. 40 minutes from Interlaken via Lauterbrunnen by taking the Jungfraubahn railway.

The sauna with a shower you will also find in the basement. On the ground floor/foyer you will find a guest toilet/sink as well as the kitchen and the living room with the sitting area. The fully equipped, modern kitchen has got a stove, an oven, a dish-washer, a refrigerator a freezer, and is nicely integrated into the living room. The kitchen fulfilled all wishes. The living room is very cosy and modern. On cold days you will be enjoying the wood-burning fireplace. Radio are ready to be used. Please note the apt. does not have a TV.
