BEAUTIFUL FRENCH QUARTER CONDO WITH COURTYARD BALCONY!

I'm hesitant to rave too much about this jewel for fear we won't be able to book it next time we're in NOLO.

It's delightful. The location couldn't be better -- a five minute walk from Bourbon Street, fine dining, St. Louis Cathedral and more. Tucked away behind a nondescript doorway is a little piece of NOLA heaven. The downstairs is well-furnished and comfortable. The upstairs loft is truly a loft -- if you're tall like us you have to get used to the slanted ceiling so you don't bump your head but it's part of the charm. The bed is heavenly and cozy.

The next time we come to NOLA, we'll try to stay here first.

We loved this beautiful home. It was in a GREAT location and was very well kept. We didn't need anything while we were there. The owners were wonderful with our questions, booking and once we got their. We would highly recommend and will use this property when we return to our favorite city.

If you want to stay in a place where all of the appointments are top dollar and the location is great for exploring the French Quarter, then this is it. The owners have taken a historic place and made it brand new without taking anything away from the old-world charm. I was there for a trade show and after hours of walking around a convention center for 3 days in a row, it was nice to come back to something comfortable. It also helps that there is a kitchen to prepare some of your meals, as eating every meal out can be taxing on one's wallet. One more thing, some owners of vacation rentals are hard to get in touch with after the bill is paid but Cathy quickly responded to every question and even offered tips on things to do and where to go to make the most out of the trip. (She was even very forgiving for a 2:30 am phone call from the fire department because of my burned and smoking pizza fiasco, but that's a whole different story.) I truly enjoyed the stay and the hospitality. Many thanks to the Almeidas!
