Guestbook comments from the owner
Although it was a week long, time softens there and I imagine it feels too brief for any traveler who stays at North Cottage.
Randy and Louise have made a cozy, well equipped and very comfortable apartment above their home, located in a beautiful neighborhood in West Victoria. It is quiet and green with gardens, which you can look out over from your private deck with your coffee. The bed is very comfy as well and there is a lusciously deep tub for soaking baths.
Top of the list of good things is the bus service into the city which is a block away and runs like clockwork. You do not need a car, which is lovely.
Randy and Louise are present for any needs you have and absolutely respectful of privacy otherwise. I highly recommend this accommodation, it's a beauty.
Randy or Louise
Your hosts are Randy and Louise. Having travelled extensively all over the world we recognize good accommodation when we see it and we're happy to offer this piece of our comfortable home. Our life's philosophy is simple:
Walk softly, care generously, speak kindly and love deeply.
Northcott Avenue is robustly community-oriented and along with our neighbors we are involved in the growth and development of the larger community of Victoria West, and the arts community of Victoria.
We chose this house because we rely on our bicycles to get us to work, town and picnics by the beach, and the nearby Galloping Goose Trail gets us there quickly without the stress of traffic. We have cycled routes in and around Victoria, the interior of BC, England and France and parts of South East Asia.
Everything we need is within walking distance.
