The Green Turtle is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath floating house located at Stock Island Marina Village. With direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, it's the perfect way to experience Key West by water. Bring your boat and tie up to the Green Turtle, or just enjoy the ocean breeze from the veranda. The houseboat is brand new and has been outfitted with new furnishings and artwork, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with luxury towels and linens. We have a gym and a dog park at the marina that are also available for your use. Enjoy all the comforts of home with the atmosphere of maritime living!

Stock Island is located just over the bridge from Key West, about a 15 minute ride to Duval Street. It's close enough to enjoy all the action of downtown but kick back in a more laid back atmosphere. Stock Island Marina Village is home to a colorful and friendly array of live-aboards and commercial fishermen, giving you a unique 'Old Key West' feel.

Stock Island Marina Village is a multi-use Marine Community located in historic Safe Harbor and serving live-aboard, recreational, and commercial vessels. We offer free wifi internet, use of our new gym, dog park and laundry facilities. Our office is open 6 days a week, and we have security on site after office hours so you can feel safe during your stay. Our residents are very friendly, courteous, and knowledgable of the area, and the docks are a great slice of Key West life.

Green Turtle Ammenities: The Green Turtle is tastefully outfitted with everything you need during your vacation. Amenities include:

- 1 Queen Bedroom with a closet and dresser

- Full Bathroom (shower, sink, and toilet) with bath towels

We make it a point to avoid staying in hotels while vacationing because we prefer a more homelike atmosphere. The Green Turtle is one of the best of the many places we've stayed over the years. Cozy, comfortable, and convenient it gave us the perfect home base for exploring Key West and environs, not to mention a totally relaxing place to just hang out.

The covered deck overlooking the water is a treasure: The perfect place to great the morning, salute the end of the day, barbeque, read, or just watch the clouds sail by. It's also a great place for armchair wildlife watching, with fish gliding below the rails and jumping in the marina harbor and a plethora of seabirds - including pelicans - scouting for dinner. We even saw a couple of dolphins frolicking a few slips away.

We would recommend The Green Turtle to anyone looking for accommodations for 2-4 people on Key West. We only left because we had to return to work!

What a nice change from a hotel. The Green Turtle is both an excellent value and a really fun place to stay. The cottage is just like in the pictures, clean and well maintained. It is close to everything you would want to do in Key West. We especially liked Hogfish Restaurant and the fish market nearby. We grilled scallops, lobster and snapper. Recycle Bike Shop delivered beach cruisers right to us at the cottage and picked them up the next day. Parking is tricky in Old Town so I recommend parking free at the Welcome Center located just over the bridge from Stock Island and buying a pass on the shuttle. I also loved eating lunch at the Sunset Pier in Old Town. Good food, lots of boat action and aqua blue water.

A Quiet Relaxing Vacation on the Water--PERFECT!

We had a wonderful time at the Green Turtle--excellent choice for a different getaway. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The houseboat was clean and cozy. Not too far away from downtown Key West (6 miles) and easy commute by scooter or car. Must admit we sure enjoyed watching the comings and goings at the dockside and harbor. Found it was definitely more fun to hang out at the houseboat--less crowds and perfect on the porch on those sunny afternoons. A short distance by scooter to a wonderful fish market and sure enjoyed our fill of fresh grilled fish. Recommend this to anyone--it was great!

Quiet, clean, friendly, picturesque, the Green Turtle has it all. The serene setting, the colorful skies and the delightful houseboat made for a unique and most pleasurable experience. 10 minutes to Duval Street was easy.

This was an experience that the 4 of us would do again.......... yes, same place and same boat. A real JOY!!!
