Pouligny-Notre-Dame Charming château, surrounded by a golf course, with hotel services available.

Our stay in the Manoir was exceptional. Very clean, spacious and wonderful atmosphere. The person responsible for the Manoir was most attentive before and during our stay. The area is beautiful, recommended for walking and cycling, glofing. Easy to find the Manoir using Sat Nav. We had 14 adults in the Manoir and once we managed to find where everything was it was superb. We were fortunate to have the Manoir to ourselves so we were able to eat outside in the evenings, use the sunbeds whenever we wanted. However, on the Friday evening guests did move into the annex and we would not have wanted to share the courtyard and grounds with another group for a whole week. Be prepared for early morning wake-up calls from the resident Peacocks. Also at night you slowly drift off to sleep with the gentle croaking of frogs - quite beautiful. The facilities at the hotel are good for the pool, golf etc but we were very disappointed with the service in the restaurant at the hotel - the food was very good but sadly let down by the service - if you are vegetarian/vegan or special diets make sure you tell them well in advance - the menu does not cater for this.
