Erimi Village Vacation Rental

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, which had a good size balcony with distant views of the sea looking towards Akrotiri.

The apartment was modern, very clean and even though it was 1 bedroom, was very spacious.

Most importantly everything worked. There was always plenty of hot water, and the shower had good pressure. The apartments were serviced 3 times a week, when bed linen and towels were changed, and were left spotless.

Reception was always very helpful. Do not bother taking a load of books as there is a good supply of books in reception which people have left.However it is worth taking out some DVDs and CDs, although you do receive BBC News, and we were able to watch Match of the Day.

We did not use the on site amenities very much, but there was a good size swimming pool, which was very quiet when we went at the end of October and there was a good atmosphere in the bar area most nights. The bowling green looked good. The restaurant food was pretty good, although helpings were a bit on the large side and with the weakening pound on the expensive side.

To get the most out of your holiday, I think you would need a hire car, although I think some people just used the shuttle services to Limmasol or the beach. However without a car I think you would be a bit tied to the Arimi villas especially at night, as it is a half hour walk into Erimi village.

We would recommend this to friends and will probably go there again ourselves as it is an excellent base to visit our family in Akrotiri.
