Awe Inspiring Sunrise to Sunset Views ~ None Better at Panama City Beach!!
“This condo rocks” was one of the first guest comments describing our two-bedroom unit. Now, we’ve added an end-unit three-bedroom with the same high standards for comfort, style and convenience. This very large, 1950 sq ft, unit has an open floor plan, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a handy assigned covered parking space and views from the 802 sq ft of balcony you must see to believe.
The 330-degree panoramic view completely rocks: either from the unit’s 29 feet width of windows in the great room or out on the 135-foot long wrap-around balcony. From your vantage point on the 17th floor you can look east to St. Andrews State Park and Shell Island and westward at the 30-plus miles of the Emerald Coast.
The dazzling view inspired an interior redesign worthy of the view – and the name: This Condo Rocks 3 BR. The redesign features piano finish “African Oak” flooring, fun paisley area rugs, 19th century nautical maps; custom pillows; marble-topped dining table and (of course) a 55-inch Sony HDTV with over 65 high definition channels.

This three-bedroom unit is on the eastern end of the most eastern high-rise building at Panama City Beach. This location and the high level of this unit provides what everyone describes as the very best views at Panama City Beach. The building is uniquely angled 15 degrees to the west allowing striking views of over thirty miles of Gulf of Mexico beachfront. The nearly 330 degrees of panoramic views from the balcony on this 17th floor condo are unmatched at Panama City Beach. Whether looking east to St. Andrews State Park and Shell Island or west to Destin there are no obstructions to hinder your view. Between these extremely inviting crystal White Beaches there are unlimited expanses of the Emerald Waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Four sliding glass doors and two large three-paned window sets offer views from inside this spacious condo which are described as awesome, magnificent and breathtaking by all who have enjoyed them.
There are 135 feet of continuously surrounding balcony. Forty-five feet are on the Gulf-facing southern side. Another sixty-three feet of balcony continues on the eastern side facing St. Andrews State Park and the jetties at the entrance of St. Andrews Bay. This exceptional panorama continues on the northern side with views of the waters of the Grand Lagoon, the fleet at Captain Anderson’s Marina and reaches from the Hathaway Bridge to Panama City and westward to the new Beaches International Airport and beyond.
Be sure to bring your camera! Photo opportunities abound here from the sunrises to the east to sunsets in the west and everywhere in between. The picture possibilities never end. Whether on the beach, in the water or in the air there is always something worthy of remembering.
We are located mid way between two fine shopping areas, 23 rd Street in Panama City to the east and Pier Park on the beach to the west. Each is only a short drive away. The Silver Sands Factory Stores Outlet Mall is less than an hour drive to the west.
Luxuriously appointed in crimson, pesto and gold it features a queen sleeper sofa, Lane recliner, a 55-inch Sony flat panel HDTV, and paisley area rugs over piano finish “African Oak” flooring. It has an additional seating area and counter-height marble-top table and chairs at the eastern end of the great room with views of the Gulf all around. A computer-ready office table is available in case you need to bring some work with you, we hope not.
The 135-foot long 802 sq ft wrap-around balcony features 330-degrees of panoramic view. From your vantage point on the 17th floor you can look east to St. Andrews Park and Shell Island and look west at the 30-plus miles of the Emerald Coast. Looking at the water below it’s easy to spot rays, dolphins, and nurse sharks or you can just people watch. Here you are perfectly positioned for each night’s incredible sunset. Dine at the outdoor table for six or relax with your favorite friend on the twin authentic Adirondack chairs.
Open floor plan with dining area adjacent to the great room and kitchen– it features seating for six at the cream-colored marble-topped dining table. The rectangular dining table measures 66 x 39 inches and is punctuated with crimson micro suede Parson chairs at both ends. Overhead is a dimmer-controlled chandelier for setting the mood.
A ready to brew coffee pouch awaits your arrival at this fully equipped tiled kitchen that features granite counter tops and GE Profile appliances: glass top stove, refrigerator/freezer with ice and water dispenser and dishwasher. We provide dishwasher pods for guest use.
A large variety of cookware, pots and pans and small appliances allow those motivated to cook to their taste's delight. A large pantry and multiple cabinets provide plenty of storage space. A high power microwave oven completes this full function kitchen. There's a dine-at granite bar with stools dividing the kitchen from the great room.
Master bedroom & bath suite:
Newly carpeted, the Gulf-front master features a king-sized bed and 40-inch Sony HDTV with a VCR recorder/player and a DVD player. The 10-feet of windows has sliding door access to the balcony. Double-rod drapes with both fabric and full-light block materials. The tiled private bath has dual sinks, double-shower heads,a private commode and an extra-large walk-in closet. A hair dryer is provided along with soaps.
Guest bedrooms & bath:
Two additional bedrooms – both newly carpeted, have sliding glass door access to the wrap-around balcony and bay views. The Queen Bedroom has direct access to the tiled Guest Bath while the Twin Bedroom is just across the hall. Both the Queen and Twin bedrooms are equipped with 32-inch Samsung HDTV's and DVD players. A hair dryer is provided along with soaps.
The tiled laundry room is located off the hall with a quieting door. It has an extra-large capacity GE high efficiency stacked washer and dryer. We provide Tide pods for guest use in the washer.
An iron and an ironing board are also provided.

About Warren Chace
We are retired and have lived at Smith Mountain Lake near Roanoke Virginia since 2000. We lived in the Binghamton NY area for 35 years where Warren worked at GE and Jeannette had several positions including at the SUNY Binghamton Foundation.
We were both raised in Swansea Massachusetts near the ocean on Narragansett Bay and have a love for the water and fresh shellfish and seafood. Upon retiring we sampled several vacation and retirement areas in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida. We selected a place on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake in southwest Va. near Roanoke. We love it here but we do miss access to really fresh seafood. So when we began thinking about a place to spend winters we gave having good fresh seafood in the area a high priority. At Panama City Beach there are dozens of places to get Gulf seafood as fresh as it can be. It is a seafood lovers delight.

Why Warren Chace chose Treasure Island Resort
Our daughter Pam purchased a condo at Treasure Island Resort in 2008. She established the brand This Condo Rocks and began offering her 2 BR for rent that year. We visited the PCB area at least once a year after that and grew to really like the area. The access to dozens of seafood restaurants is a major plus for us.
There are loads of things to do in the PCB area all year round. Fishing is one of Warren's main interests and the fishing in the Gulf and bays here is exceptional. For Jeannette the easy access to shopping is a big plus. There are hundreds of national name stores and dozens of specialty shops in the area all within an easy drive.
When the chance to purchase #1701, a 3 BR unit near Pam's 2 BR unit #1703, came about in the summer of 2011 we couldn't resist. We spent the winter of 2011/2012 at our unit while we completely refurbished it in the style and fashion of Pam's unit. It has many of the characteristics of her This Condo Rocks brand so we have extended that brand to include This Condo Rocks 3 BR.
We have been very gratified that our guests have enjoyed staying at our condo as much as we do while there in the winter.
The best compliment we have received is that our condo 'immediately felt like we were at home'.
What makes this condo unique
The sights and sounds of the Gulf keep us entertained while relaxing on our spacious balcony. Being on the 17 th level offers an outstanding panoramic view of the Emerald Coast. There's a picture opportunity every minute here. A telescope is provided to let you experience all the activities on the beach and all around.
We very much enjoy the company of other owners and guests. Jeannette organizes games, marbles and dominoes, in the owner's lounge that Pam had a major role in redecorating. It's now very inviting for group get togethers and is very well utilized.
The saying 'It's not a day at the beach' describes the opposite of what we enjoy at Panama City Beach; it's many days at the beach!
