The Classy Condo ll is located in the heart of Carolina Beach. It is only one block from the Boardwalk where there are many shops, cafes and attractions with free entertainment most every weekend in season: March - October. This is also where the famous Britt's Donuts is located. And they have awards hanging on their wall to prove it.
Head down toward Kure Beach to the NC Aquarium to see a beautiful collection of tropical fish. Or keep going to the Ft. Fisher Museum, a war memorial museum. Or there you can take a ferry to Southport to enjoy an old seaport village. Or keep going and take another ferry to Bald Head Island. No cars allowed, only golf carts which you can rent.
Historic downtown Wilmington is only 30 minutes away. There you can view /tour old southern mansions, museums and antique shops. Trolley tours or a horse and carriage is a great way to learn more about this beautiful coastal city. The River Walk along the Cape Fear River could be a delightful way to spend an afternoon. This iaalso where the USS Carolina is permanently docked and now a museum certain to please all history buffs - young and old. And Wilmington has been host to the filming of many movies and TV shows; most recent being
'One Tree Hill'. For movie lovers, take the walking tour to learn all about movies that have been filmed in the area.
Delightful tours of local wineries can be found 45 - 60 minutes away. In Rose Hill NC one can tour the Duplin Winery or in Ocean Isle Beach the Coastal Winery. Both have frequent wine tastings and events.
