A self-catering calm wooden house for perfect holidays.

Hi! Good morning.

It is with a huge pleasure that we are inviting you to come and spend a winter or spring with less cold and no snow.

Bring your fishing rod and lots of books and you will be able to spend some very pleasing days.

Within 50 metres you have the aqua fitness health club where you are able to do your morning exercise, a small supermarket to make your daily grocery shopping and then 5 minutes away by car you have the widest variety of beaches, which can give you some of the best beach days ever.

If you like golf you also have an excellent golf site 5 minutes away from the house, a very pleasant a relaxing atmosphere.

Our Portuguese gastronomy, no need for words. But you also have the barbecue in the house where every day you can grill a fish or some meat of your choice.

At night the Portuguese capital, Lisbon has the cheapest night life in Europe. Also in Almada there is a variety of nightly activities.

Nearest Beach : beach at 3 Kilometres
Car: recommended

In this house you will be able to choose a different beach everyday if you wish to do so. Also nearby you will have two beautiful cities waiting for your visit Lisbon and Setubal. In the beaches there are great fishes for taking with you back home, if fishing is a hobby of yours.

Golf: 3 km away from this house you will be able to find the Arroeira golf club.

Great property and very nice owners

We had a great time at the house and loved it.It was really a home away from home.
The garden is magnificent and we enjoyed our time spent lazing around in the sun chairs and barbecueing.
My son also grew very fond of the chickens that came to visit!

The house is handy for the beaches but also for visits to Lisbon. And in case it is raining the big shopping centre in Almada is only a 10 minute drive away.

Carlos and his family are very nice and helpful and we do not have a single complain about the way they treated us. They were even so kind to let us find some pastries and tea when we arrive late at night and even brought more when they passed by!

We particularly loved the pastry shop around the corner and had most of our breakfasts there.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Lovely

My husband, 2 kids and I have just spent 1 week in this lovely house.
Carlos and his wife are very nice and good people.
The house it is very nice and clean and the garden is beautiful. The whole sorrounding of the house is well fenced and safe for the kids.
Only a 5 minute drive from the beaches and near restaurants and mini markets. There is a lovely park for the kids, not even 5 minutes walking from the house.
We hope to come back in the future and truly recomend it to anyone.

Wonderful vacations!

We spent 3 weeks in the very lovely house of Carlos. He welcomed us, showed us the property and indicated useful information ( beaches, Market,...).
The house is only 45 minutes from Lisboa Airport, 30 min from Lisboa's center and 15 min from the beach (with a car)
The garden is beautiful with lot of trees, where you could cook delicious fishes with the barbecue!

Thanks again to Carlos & his family for these wonderful vacations...

Best holiday ever

We love Portugal and rented different houses at different locations in the past, but this is the best. The cosy house is surrounded with pine trees and has all modern comfort. Not only the specified equipment is present but there is also plenty of tableware, pots and pans, towels, sheets etc.
We liked very much to walk on the beach to the lagoon, a 1.5 hour trip on sand starting in 'Fonta de Telha'. This 'Lagoa de Albufeira" can also be reached by car (25 Km), so that somebody can pick you up there.
To go to Lisbon we preferred to take the boat at "Porto Brandao", (no parking problems, not queuing the bridge) to 'Belem' where tramway 28 took us to the centre.
Next (right) to the ‘Junta de Fregesia’ in Charneca we found a small restaurant that serves simple, good Portuguese food at very reasonable prices (really cheap for us Belgians). Also take out of roasted chicken and ‘Leitao’ - sucking pig. I do not remember the restaurant’s name but the boss’ name is Carla.
We can recommend the village Charneca de Caparica and this nice house with its garden. The house is well equipped, quiet, with all daily necessities in walking distance. It is not far from a beautiful beach and nearby Lisbon. Add to this the very friendly owners that are ready to help you with whatever issue and you will understand why we booked already for next year.

good time in a good place

I 'm living in Lisbon and it was a real surprise to find such a pretty place só close from the city.You need a car to go to the beach but the house is very cosy and Carlos & his wife are very nice and helpfull.The garden is just wonderfull and well protected:I've been there with two small children and it was perfect:the neighbourg Isabel made baby sitting.It's really a Great Place and I recommand this place!!!
