Welcome to our home located in Highgate Park at Legacy Park, Davenport, Florida. Highgate Park is a gated community located in a quiet, private area off Hwy 27 yet close to everything you will require. Our second home is on the same street #3581544 for large groups or if this one is booked.
The home itself is a four bedroom, three bathroom home newly furnished, NEW CERAMIC FLOORING, ALL NEW CARPETING IN BEDROOMS and decorated and ready for our guests to enjoy. There is an easy flow to one story home from the entranceway through the living/dining room, to the kitchen and eating area, to the family room and finally the extended deck area with large pool and spa.
The main living/dining room is outfitted with new comfy couches and a formal dining table which seats six. Three large windows provide plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need to prepare any and all meals from a snack to a full course buffet. All new large and small appliances are there for your convenience. The eating area of the kitchen has a table for four plus three bar stools at the bar providing seating for seven.
The family room is large and overlooks the covered lanai and pool area. A large flat screen TV with a DVD player with 49 movies for the entire family and a Playstation with 19 game choices and dual controls will help keep all ages entertained. The screened in pool and spa area has an extended pool deck and a child safety fence to keep the little ones safe. A new gas grill with all utensils, patio set and loungers with all new cushions make your outdoor relaxing complete.
At the end of a long day of enjoying all that the area has to offer you will have four great bedrooms to recharge in. The Master has a King bed and large bath with double sinks, garden tub, water closet and large walk-in shower. Patio doors in the Master lead to the covered lanai and pool area. A walk-in closet has plenty of room for the storage of clothes and luggage. The second master is equipped with a Queen bed, private bath and large closet. Two other twin bedded rooms, both with large closets share a third full bathroom all decorated in Disney theme. The separate laundry room houses a full size washer & dryer for a quick and easy laundry day plus an iron & ironing board for those quick touch-ups.
Shopping, restaurants, Disney, golf and other sought after attractions area a short and easy drive. A truly comfortable home to return to at the end of your day.
Highgate Park is the envy of most communities in the area and actually backs onto a protected conservation area. We are situated only 10 miles from the Gates of Disney and yet are far enough away to enjoy peaceful evenings relaxing in your own pool or walks around the neighborhood. The easy road system allows you to reach nearby supermarkets 1 mile away (some 24/7), restaurants, post office, banks, chemists (drugstores), gas stations (petrol), and a library within minutes. There is a terrific children's playground and tennis court within the compound.
All newly added amenities this year including TV's in all bedrooms, 6 ceiling fans, loaded with extra beach and bath towels, cupboards full of dishware and silverware/utensils for cooking, coolers, pool floats, stereo with DVD player, all the comforts of home...as my guests have all said this is not your typical rental...it's more like a home away from home!
We have a second home on the same street we are closing on August 5, 2013 that has an open calendar. It is a 4 bedroom, 3 Bath with a private pool only 8 houses down, pricing is the same email me for details.
We had the pleasure of staying at this house in Orlando in March. The location was perfect for us to go to Disney World and it was great to be able to actually stay in a house and not a hotel. From the minute we stepped in the door, it was so warm and welcoming. We loved the Disney decorated bathroom! The pool was terrific for us to unwind after walking all day at Disney. We always like to stay in houses when we travel because we don't like to eat every meal out and like to have more space to relax if we choose to do so. We have stayed at several houses and dealt with different owners and I have to say that I typically don't write reviews like this one but dealing with these owners was such a pleasant experience and they made us feel more like invited house guests to their home than "renters." We are already looking forward to going back either later this year or next year and taking our grandchildren with us this time! Thanks for adding to our great time at Disney! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.
