Come and relax at a beautiful lake in the mountains of Northern Georgia. Our four bedroom, two and a half bath home offers the perfect retreat for a family vacation. We are located in a quiet cove, just a short boat ride from the main lake.
Enjoy the spacious open floor plan, all with water views, including the kitchen, dining, living room, and recreation room (pool/ping pong table). A patio, a covered eating porch, two covered rocking chair porches, a swing and a hammock await you outside all facing the lake. The house has all new flooring- wood in living spaces and carpet in all bedrooms. Ceiling fans are located throughout with air conditioning in all of the four bedrooms. (At a high altitude, the weather here is great...warm days and cool nights). We do not have air conditioning throughout the house.
Come down to the double boathouse to relax on the upper sun-deck or play on the lower swim-deck. Paddle our canoe and explore the lake until your arms are tired! This is an quiet cove, perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing, and relaxing. Bring your own boat or jet ski to tie to the back side of the dock or rent one.

Bedroom Two: main level, one queen bed;
Bedroom Three: second level, queen/ extra long single bunk bed, extra long twin bed
Bedroom Four: second level, two twin beds

We spent Labor day weekend with 2 other couples and some teens. The house is spacious, and very nicely decorated. It has a rustic feel to it (reminds me of the Adirondacks) with a very well stocked kitchen. Everyone loved the quiet location, as well as the house. We took advantage of all the nice features such as the screened porch with rockers, screened dining porch, patio, and game room. I did not miss having AC, as we opened all windows and listened to the night sounds. It was a pleasure to retreat to our quiet cove after boating on the lake. I would rent this house again.
What an amazing place to get away to! The cabin is on the best cove of Lake Burton making you feel secluded from the hustle and bustle of the busy lake and busy life. The layout is perfect for family gatherings or even just for a romantic weekend. As soon as you walk in the front door you feel right at home. The views of the serene lake are picturesque, especially in the morning from the upper boathouse deck. We really enjoyed having morning coffee and starting our day with rejuvenating yoga there! Our family loved staying in this peaceful cabin. It’s not often we are able to get everyone together, and this was the perfect place for a vacation. We will definitely retreat here again in the future!
Just had a wonderful time with our grown children and two grandbabies! The weather this year has been rainy a lot, but with the screened porches and game room, we never lacked for something to do. This section of the lake was wonderful for paddling around and fishing or just fishing from the dock! We brought our two kayaks, but the canoe was a great addition.
We have rented several VBRO homes over the years, but this was the best supplied kitchen we have been to and probably one of the best overall layouts for several families sharing a home. We loved it!
We loved staying here! The house is immaculate, it has everything you would want in the kitchen and the floor plan is ideal for a family to have fun. What I especially like about this setting over many other homes on Lake Burton is the peaceful location. Sitting on the dock with morning coffee, no boat motors blaring, only sounds of birds and sun shimmering on the lake. Heaven!
There are 3 screened porches! one for rocking,one with hammocks and the third has a large table for family meals. RM Knoxville, Tn
Four stressed our working women needed a getaway and we stumbled up it in every sense of the word. This is it. We did not have any cell service whatsoever, and that was a great thing! We each had our own room and space to get away from each other if we needed it. What a great, relaxing weekend: breakfast in the screened in house, lunch on the lower dock floating in the water, dinner at the family table and cocktails on the upper boat house deck.
Bring sustenance for the entire time you are enjoying the lake breezes. The first road in on Vickers is not for the faint of heart. It is tight, gravel, and ruddy but worth the trip. We had the most relaxing time at this wonderful getaway.
