First floor includes a sunny kitchen with all usual amenities including a dishwasher, and a small counter with 4 wooden stools for simple dining-in. The carpeted dining room includes a butcher block table, chairs for 8, and a butcher block hutch/desk. The living room has sparkling oak hardwood floors, a comfortable couch which seats 3-4, two large upholstered easy chairs and two rocking chairs. There is also a flat screen TV, DVD player and IPOD/radio docking sound system. There is a sunny full bath with tub and shower unit, a carpeted bedroom with AC, a queen and twin bed and two chairs .
Carpeted stairs lead to the sunny sun-drenched second floor, which is fully carpeted throughout excluding the bathroom. Second floor has a spacious and romantic master bedroom with a white rattan king bed and matching end tables, a vanity, a large painted dresser, a flat screen TV and DVD player, a new futon adjacent to windows with a southern exposure, and sliding glass doors to a large deck with waterviews and plenty of oudoor solid wood deck furniture. The second bedroom on this level is also very bright, with south-facing windows. The second bedroom includes an oak frame double bed and comfy full-sized futon, hardwood dresser, A/C, flat screen TVand DVD player, & full length mirror. There is a full bath (tub and shower) on the second floor and plenty of closet space throughout. The house has 3 cable TVs, wifi, IPOD/CD/Radio with speakers , DVD players, beach chairs and umbrella, two adult road bicycles, charcoal grill, badminton, soccer and basketballs. The three-level deck is great for lounging or watching the sunset and stars, and the top deck offers breathtaking views of the bay, the Provincetown monument and lights, the sparkling ocean and setting sun, and fabulous unobstructed night sky gazing at the stars ! Deck outside the master bedroom is perfect for summer reading or simply dozing off in a comfortable lounge chair.
The private outdoor shower off the first floor deck is a great way to cool off after the beach, bike ride, walk or long run. Round hardwood table and 6-8 chairs as well as multiple aiderondeck deck and lounge chairs, for comfortable outdoor entertaining. There are also three outdoor umbrellas for sitting in the shade,plus a fourth umbrella and sand screw for taking to the beach. There is also a large picnic table with attached benches which seats 8, and a hammock in the shade to take a snooze in. Families with children are welcome, however there are stairs inside the house, stairs leading to the three outdoor decks, and stairs from Lookout Bluff down to the beach, so children should be old enough so that these do not pose a safety threat to them. New ping pong table in the basement for rainy days and evening games ! Beginner's surf board in the basement is also available for guest's use, as well as boogie board and blow-up raft.
Truro is beautiful in the off-season, and house is available for rent, year-round. Significant discounts available for the months of April, May, early June, September, October, November, December, and January thru March and linens and towels can be provided for an additional fee. Discounts also available for guests taking more than one week at a time.
Some photos were taken in February (not the optimal time for great shots) but we will update the site with better photos once the weather gets nicer. Property has an excellent rental history with a lot of repeat guests. Make your reservations soon, before it's too late !
For guests renting during the months of Jan, Feb, March, April & May (for at least three nights), we will provide two adult passes to the Topmast Fitness Center (located less than a mile away), which has an indoor pool, sauna, steam, weight room and aerobic equipment. $20 value.
