The historic town of Beaune, with it's rich cultural life, restaurants, and vibrant Saturday market, is a 5 minute drive north. Location, location, location!

Pommard is a bustling wine village situated just on the outskirts of the medieval town of Beaune, the heart of the Cote d'Or. Our modern ground floor townhouse apartment is located in a beautifully renovated 17th century carriage inn.
Burgundy & local attractions: But do not think that Burgundy is reserved solely for wine connoisseurs and lovers of art and architecture. Visitors have a choice of activities as varied as the region's landscapes. With so much to see and do in this year-round destination, one stay is never enough! The so called 'Land of Art and Good Living', Burgundy offers you prestigious vineyards and wines, historical cities, famous sites (many World Heritage), golf and an interesting walking and cycling network, all within a well preserved natural setting.
You will find maps, tourist information and inspiration in our apartment, and the tourist office in Beaune can provide all the information you need to make your stay at 3 Clos de Pommard a truly memorable one. Our property management team will be pleased to assist you with web links and further information about the region.
Local attractions: The medieval town of Beaune, once the home of the Dukes of Burgundy, offers some of the regions most appreciated historic attractions, including the Hospice de Beaune, Europe's first charity hospital built in 1443. Excellent restaurants abound. The Saturday morning market in Beaune is not to be missed. For those enjoying outdoor activities, the region offers wonderful hiking and biking trails, some that run right through our village of Pommard.
Our property offers two quiet, comfortable bedrooms, both with queen size beds, one full bathroom, and a half bath that provides a second toilet and sink. Our kitchen is fully stocked with cookware fit for a chef. Internet, telephone and television with English and French stations are, of course, provided, with WiFi Internet and a fixed computer available if you cannot bring your own device. We provide free international telephone calls to landlines in Europe and North America.
Imagine two young, aspiring musicians, growing up 25 miles from one another in the USA. One summer they are each sent to perform in the great concert halls and cathedrals of Europe. They meet and speak to one another for the first time on the steps of Notre Dame de Paris –– the beginnings of a life-long love story, with each other, with a way of life, and with France! Since 2005 we have owned this, our lovely second home, in the Burgundian wine village of Pommard. Each year has brought an ever-increasing respect for and connection to the people and culture of this remarkable place, the most celebrated and complex wine region on earth. In essence, our desire to make this property available for others to enjoy was born out of a desire to share our knowledge and love of Burgundy with those who seek something more than a generic travel experience.

Booking with us is unique in four ways:
First, with the rental of our property, we are pleased to offer one complementary hour of trip planning consultation from “Your Key to Burgundy,” (www.yourkeytoburgundy.com) our company that specializes in helping our clients to design personalized, authentic experiences in the Burgundy region of France.
Second, unlike many holiday rentals in Burgundy, we are fortunate to have property managers who live right in our village. Our unique American/French collaboration allows us to provide the highest quality of service for our guests.
Third, there are no “booking” fees or any other hidden charges for rental of our apartment. We do collect a security deposit which is fully refunded to you upon inspection of our apartment following your departure.
And finally, you are given the option to pay for your booking either in euros or in US dollars, thus allowing our American guests to save considerably by not having to pay any currency conversion fees.
From the moment we stepped into your lovely apartment we knew we were in for a treat! Such attention to detail and we appreciated all the little amenities to truly make us feel at home.

Chosen for it’s location in one of France’s most famous wine villages, the property adjoins the famous Chateau de Pommard, whose recently restored gardens are open to the public. A stay in our apartment, with the boulangerie (bakery), epicerie (grocery store), café, and restaurant literally steps from the front door, offers a true taste of Burgundian village life. Just two hours from Paris by train, this location is a perfect vacation destination for lovers of wine and the beautiful countryside in which it is produced. And because of proximity to the train station in Beaune (2 miles) and the auto route (2 miles), Pommard provides an ideal base from which to explore other parts of France and Europe.

American guests with US bank accounts may pay in US dollars via check. Current weekly rates in US dollars are as follows:
Jan 1 through April 30, and Nov 1 through Dec 31: $1,050
May 1 through October 31: $1,300
Security Deposit: $350
A €250 holding deposit will be required at time of booking. The rental balance and €250 security deposit due no later than 6 weeks before arrival. Your security deposit will be refunded within 14 days of your departure if no damage or breakages have occurred.
Rental rates include all taxes, linens and end of rental cleaning.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (EUR) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
