Casa Rosa is a spacious town house, ideal for families/couples, with fantastic sea and mountain views. 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins), 2 bathrooms. From the entrance hall, there is a separate fully fitted kitchen, a spacious well furnished lounge/dining room, a feature fireplace and French doors leading to the south facing terrace with sea views. The two twin bedrooms are also on the ground floor, together with a full bathroom. Stairs from the hall lead to the private master suite, which takes up the whole of the second floor with its own full bathroom and sea views from the balcony. The house is newly decorated and furnished to a high standard. Cable TV with English channels. Own access & parking outside. Its close to the communal pool, there are bars and restaurants on site and a small supermarket. Pool tables & gym. The beach, shops and restaurants and the proposed new marina are within easy walking distance, whilst the centre of Nerja is just a few minutes drive away.

Nerja is one of the most beautiful regions on the Costa Del Sol, with mild winters and an average of 320 sunny days a year. Nerja is a whole world away from 'high rise' apartment blocks and featureless hotels. Here, instead, you'll find Andalusian style villas, town houses and low-rise apartments set in sunny olive groves. Visit Burriana beach, with its water sports, many beach bars and a large selection of restaurants are available. Nerja's centrepiece, the Balcon due Europa, is a palm fringed promenade built on an outcrop of craggy rocks with wonderful views of the coastline and Sierra de Tejeda mountains. From here, you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride or walk into the old town, a maze of cobbled streets filled with interesting shops, cafes and many highly recommended restaurants. Additional information about rental rates

  • Changeover day is flexible. Access to the villa is from 4 pm and departure by 10am.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required and the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.
    A security deposit of £100 is payable at balance stage to cover non-return of keys, any excessive cleaning, damage, breakages or repainting. This amount will be refunded when the keys are returned and confirmation is received that the house has been left in a reasonable condition.
  • We will consider long-term rentals of four weeks or more at a discount on the weekly rates. Rates will depend on the rental season, so please email for more details.

The listing is very accurate and you are near everything but not close enough to be disturbed by late night music. It is only 3 minutes walk down to the Punta Lara pool and the Kioska which has the very best food (and coffee). The sea is only a 10-15 minute walk down. Coming back though it is all uphill and a car is useful but not necessary.
The house was very clean and everything was in working order. We really enjoyed having a separate suite upstairs and with a view. One balcony was really useful with a washing line,and the downstairs balcony was lovely for everyone to sit out for breakfast. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and communal areas are very spacious. Having holidayed in Punta Lara for over 20 years I fully recommend this townhouse and will use again if I need a property to sleep 6. This time there were 5 adults and 1 10 year old boy and everyone had a great time. Where you stay is important and I really enjoyed this well-maintained property. Taxis to Nerja (2 miles away)are pretty cheap if you don't have a car, and the Marinas Hotel down on the beach runs its own bus service into the town for 1 euro single journey, just ask for a bus timetable from the reception.
I will only add that there are a fair number of steps down to the pool, which is great, but coming back it is uphill so it is not somewhere to go if you have a walking disability. I need to use a stick and I am okay if I am not in a hurry and, after all, when in Spain do as they do, take your time, life is much slower...stay here and have great holiday . We did!
