Perfect.

What a way to spend a weekend! We stayed at Lakeview in early November, just in time to catch the first big snowfall! My husband and I wanted to treat our siblings and moms to a relaxing weekend and they chose Big Bear as the destination. I then started searching for a place that would accommodate the 10 of us, including 3 couples... Not an easy task when considering location, size, budget, etc. WOW was I glad to have found Lakeview Manor. It was perfect for our group. PLENTY of bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas. There was lots to do with the village so close by but if you wanted to just stay indoors and relax (which is what *I* chose to do) you could do that too. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and it was beautiful to boot. On top of that, Kerry arranged to have firewood delivered prior to our arrival and had set up the heat so that the home was nice and toasty when we walked in. And, she even delivered a waffle iron because she knew we planned to make them during our stay. She was wonderful, responsive to communications, and very easy to work with. THANK YOU Kerry! :) We'd love to stay here again in the future and have been spreading the word to all our friends and family.

Christmas Vacation

We have been traveling to Big Bear for the past 17 years and I would have to say Lakeview Manor was by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in. We shared our vacation with 2 other families and it was wonderful. The location was perfect, a quick drive to the ski lift and a lovely walk to the village. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone with a large group, it was perfect.

Thank you Kerry for making us feel so welcome, the home was decorated beautifully for the Christmas holiday.

I have a large extended family - who I love deeply - but I could not bear the thought of spending a weekend in the woods with them in a tiny cabin. THIS is the proper way to host a group of people - everyone had their own bedrooms AND bathrooms. The community spaces were perfect as they're on the 2nd floor so you experience the house from above. The house is totally stocked with everything, so cooking large meals is easy and fun. There's a ping pong table, which was awesome too. The house has an efficient layout, which I enjoyed best of all. Overall, a great experience. Definitely do it again.

Absolutely Amazing

We had a group of 12 for a co-ed bachelor / bachelorette party and this was the perfect place. Obviously, the cabin is stunning but it also is in a great location right across from the lake and within walking distance to the bars and restaurants. Everyone in our group definitely wants to make big bear a tradition!
