Great location and perfect for two couples

This is a great location, only 2 blocks to Whole Foods and many restaurants. We shared this rental with another couple and it was great with two Master suites. There is a nice area for gathering in the Living and Dining room. The owner and management team were easy to work with. We didn't have a car but great garage if needed.
Owner's Response: With this condo located in the heart of downtown Austin, many guests will not need a car, despite our spacious two car garage. About two blocks from the condo is the Austin office for Car2Go (800 West 5th Street #100B Austin, TX 78703, check website) which leases small cars on an hourly basis. Also within close walking distance is Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop (400 Nueces Street Austin, TX 78701, check website) which leases bicycles. The Shoal Creek and Town Lake / Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trails are very close by, starting points for Austin hiking and bicycling adventures. Great Stay in Downtown Condo

My husband, toddler and I recently stayed here for 6 weeks.
We couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Mark (the owner) and the Managing Agent (Courtney).
All my queries were dealt promptly and with minimal fuss.
In terms of the property itself, you cannot beat the location, walking distance to 6th Street, Whole Foods, Amy's Ice Cream and Book People (a great place to spend an afternoon with your child to escape from the heat!). Also I would recommend Pease District Park (a couple of mins drive or 15 mins walk). It has a great shaded playscape and a water park.
The unit was very clean, kitchen was well equipped and all in all it had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay.
The Welcome Pack and information pack were nice touches.
I'd definitely recommend this unit to anyone visiting Austin.

Great apartment in downtown Austin

This apartment was very comfortable and well furnished. It seemed brand new and extremely clean and well cared for. It was just off the happening sixth street scene but nevertheless very quit and serene. There is a whole foods market three blocks away for anything you might need and in fact we bought very good to-go food on our last night as all the restaurants were packed(we forgot to make reservations on a Saturday night).
All in all it was a perfect apartment in a perfect location. The on site parking as well as the washer/dryer were extremely useful.
Owner's Response: Austin's restaurants are too popular these days (and often too noisy for polite conversation). Sometimes one just needs a quiet place to visit and talk, and so coming home to this condo and enjoying take-away from Whole Foods is a great backup option to always keep in mind.

My husband, son, daughter and I spent three wonderful days in Austin. This lovely, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, and spacious condo was the perfect home-away-from-home for our stay. The location is great -- within walking distance of many downtown attractions and restaurants, but very quiet at night. The beds are super comfortable; the kitchen is large as are the bathrooms; and it is great to have a washer & dryer on site. Having a Whole Foods right around the corner was also very convenient, although most meals we ate out, and didn't even make a dent in the long list of places we wanted to try. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Austin, whether for a short vacation, or for an extended stay.
