A True Home Away From Home

Do you dream of an island where there are green, rolling hills, pristine waters and beautiful scenery around every corner? Do you long for a comfortable, convenient and immaculate place to stay? Look no further! Casa Azevedo and the beautiful island of Terceira is the place to go. Imagine a place where the modern and the ancient reside side-by-side. On a drive around the island, you might come upon a man riding his donkey to work in the fields or a herd of cattle being moved from field to field. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced around the island. One of my favorite restaurants is Caneta in the tiny village of Altares. Casa Azevedo is located just minutes from the largest city on the island Angra do Heroismo. You are also minutes away from swimming and snorkeling areas. Casa Azevedo is a perfect home away from home. I was greeted by Paul who showed me around the home and instructed me in the use of the alarm system and appliances. He was always available if I had a question and was able to resolve any issue quickly. Both 110v and 220v is available so you have to worry if you want to bring your 110v items from home. It has all you need and more for a perfect place to stay. There are four large and comfortable bedrooms. I stayed the first two nights in one of the upstairs bedrooms, then moved to the downstairs bedroom because it was more convenient for me to use the lower kitchen, bathroom and veranda. Both were very comfortable. The house is perfect for one, as it was for my stay, or for a family. The wi-fi service worked everywhere I tried to use it. I often sat on the back veranda overlooking the beautiful garden and sea beyond. Casa Azevedo is well appointed with just about anything you might need to make your stay comfortable. If you are planning a trip to Terceira, I would highly recommend staying at Casa Azevedo. It is more comfortable than the hotels I've stayed in and the value is much better! So, pack your bags and get ready for a dream vacation on the island of Terceira and in the beautiful Casa Azevedo!

We agree, the back veranda and view of the Atlantic Ocean is stunning! We are also pleased to know you thoroughly enjoyed all that the island has to offer. We hope you took many opportunities around the island to sample gelato, sweet treats, fresh bread and espresso.
That is a great point you made that the property has wi-fi and North American voltage for those guests bringing small items from home. Our goal is to create a setting at Casa Azevedo that is relaxing and comfortable for all guests.
