Heaven on earth
I honestly cannot say enough about this little piece of paradise...waking up every morning to that view! The entire upstairs wall facing the beach is sliding glass doors with a balcony, best view on the entire beach. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and was heaven to stay in, but what made our trip so easy and enjoyable was the people. The on-site condo manager, Dan, was a lifesaver on this trip! He helped set up comfortable transportation from San Jose with a reputable company after a last minute change of plans that put us arriving 2 days early, met us at one of the stops late that night, got us settled right into the condo, drove us into town for groceries the next morning, and helped set up a rental car with no problem...I barely had to lift a finger! During our stay, he was invaluable as an impromptu tour guide, and was a great "inside source" on where to go/things to do...(my little girl loved the horseback ride on the beach!...much thanks to Randolf!) The beach itself was amazing...it somehow changed every day...sometimes sandy like our familiar ones back home, but sometimes shiny and rippled where the water had molded it...and smooth as silk...morning and evening walks were the best. The location was excellent, situated between two peninsulas, creating a little alcove that has all the ocean breezes and sounds of the waves, but not all the undertow (or the crowds) of the "surfer beachtowns"....its the closest thing you can get to having your own private beach. Heaven on earth! We will definitely be back next year....this time for 2 weeks for sure. On a side note, Dan, tell Zorro "gracias" for helping me make my flight. Not only did he drive us to Liberia, he helped carry our bags, guided me to the correct lines (I was lost as a goose), and waited until we made it through security before he left. Such a gentleman! I hated to even leave....will see y'all next year. Pura Vida!
