Children under two go FREE!: We feel that the chalet is ideal for families. The younger ones (or young at heart !) can opt for the games room, where you can challenge each other on the playstation 2, pool table, table football or one of the many board games. Snow permitting you can sledge on the large fields both in front and behind the chalet, so whilst the children amuse themselves safely outside, you can content yourselves with a hot chocolate or vin chaud indoors. As a mum myself, the chalet is extremely well equipped for children. I have all the baby sterilising equipment, travel cots, high chairs, baby relaxer, play mats, toys etc and the right attitude to ensuring mum has a relaxing time on holiday! Evening baby sitting services can be arranged and full time childcare can be organised with the various creches in resort. Additional facilities: washing machine, drying room, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, hairdryers, heated ski & boot room and car parking facilities for up to 7 cars.

The Chalet Morzine Team: A pure family operation. Me (Lindsey) met Thierry whilst managing the Northern French Alps for Thomson/Crystal holidays 8 years ago. Now married for five years we have Chloe and Lea ) and are into our 6th season of running Chalet Morzine. Thierry is a qualified French Ski Instructor and works for the local French Ski School 'ESF'. (3 guesses how I met him). Having had much experience with the big tour operators, our family team provide a first class service from the word go. From your first enquiry, to booking, to cleaning your rooms and providing your meals - we take care of everything. Ski: The Chalet is in a fabulous location and is ski in ski out - making life very easy for everyone. The main cable car if you were to walk or leave your skis/boots at the ski shop is a mere 4 minute walk. Simply amazing. The mountain of Avoriaz can also be accessed by a 5 minute walk across the road to the Super Morzine cable car. The Ski area itself is simply vast, connecting 12 resorts and straddling 2 countries, France and Switzerland. 650kms of piste, 279 runs, 1050 snow cannons and 208 lifts make for the largest international ski area in the world. Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced will all find an abundance of terrain to suit their own style, level and technique. Avoriaz, rated one of the top snowboard resorts by the WSG guide, with its sheer drops, powder bowls, dedicated snow parks and half pipes, is there to be enjoyed by the snowboarding community!

Golf: There is a large variety of golf courses in Haute-Savoie, offering an equally wide range of facilities. However, they all have one thing in common: magnificent scenery dominated by the Mont-Blanc mountain range, panoramic views of the major Alpine lakes, green valleys and mountain streams. Haute-Savoie has 12 golf courses within a radius of 100 kms, the first one only 5minutes away.
