Perfect Vacation Beach House - Kid-friendly! Wonderful Week!

My family (5 adults and 2 children) spent a wonderful week at Crow's Nest. I loved working with Lenore, the owner of the property. She went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. She put my mind at ease with her responsiveness to all of my questions before and during the trip. Lenore knows her property and the area around the property. She takes great care of her house and her guests.
The house is beautiful and is just like it appears in the photos and clean. It is elegantly decorated and has modern beach charm. The furnishing was nice, but still kid-friendly. My children ages 4 and 2 felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The 4 yo slept in the upstairs bedroom. We placed pool noodles under the sheets on both sides of the bed as bed rails. Lenore was kind enough to purchase these for us when I explained my idea to her. There was a pack and play available for my 2 yo. There is a radio flyer wagon to wheel the kids to the beach (less than 5 minute walk). We loved the convenience of the outdoor shower to rinse off when we returned from the beach. We also spent a few late afternoons playing basketball in the driveway. The neighborhood felt very safe for walks around the block. The neighbors are friendly. There is a hiking path in the neighborhood (wear mosquito repellant).
Lenore has provided everything you can think of to get settled into the house. All appliances were in working order and easy to use. We were able to do laundry & dishes. There's a toaster oven and blender for tropical drinks. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pans, utensils, etc. Bath had towels, soap, hair dryer, etc. There were beach towels, an umbrella, and beach chairs. (Bring your own toys.)
The house is very well located. We walked to the beach everyday (5 minutes). We drove less than 10 minutes to Publix for groceries. Cafe 30A (delicious food/great date night), Angelina's (great casual family Italian dining), Snappy turtle (beach toys & gear), & Sweet Spot (ice cream!) are also within walking distance. The best frozen treats are at Frostbite (shaved ice) and Heavenly (gelato/ice cream) in Seaside about 10 minutes drive down the road. Leonore included a binder of restaurant menus for us. We loved gathering around the big round table to enjoy our carry-out meals.
My 4 yo son still refers to the Crow's Nest lovingly as "our beach house". We hope for many return visits in the future. I highly recommend home.
