Our neighborhood has a European feel to it as it is surrounded by a large variety of restaurants, cafes, delis, an art house theater, a cinema, and many boutiques for your enjoyment. The neighborhood is safe and the apartment has a live-in doorman. For your convenience, there are several gyms, a yoga studio, a supermarket, several convenient stores, and a Mercado (farmer’s market) a short walk from the apartment.
Our apartment is located in Colonia Cuauhtémoc, an ideal starting point to explore Mexico City since it's walking distance to historical, cultural and popular locations around the city. Our place is a couple of blocks from the grandiose landmarks of The Angel of Independence and The Diana Fountain on Reforma Avenue. We are walking distance to the Anthropology Museum, the Contemporary Art Museum, the Rufino Tamayo Museum, and Chapultepec Park as well as the Historical Centro, which includes the Theater of Fine Arts (Bellas Artes), the Zocalo, and multiple museums and iconic restaurants. There are buses that constantly run along Reforma Ave that will take you directly to any of these sites in less 20 minutes. Other popular neighborhoods such as Condesa, Roma, and Polanco are walking distance or a short bus ride away from our place. We are a few blocks from La Zona Rosa where you will find many galleries, antique shops, and shopping during the day and bars and night clubs at night.
If you are in Mexico City on business, our location is also optimal since we are walking distance to many embassies (American, British, Japanese, and Colombian), the Mexican headquarters of HSBC, and American Express, American Airlines, Continental and many other important businesses. Most importantly, since we are centrally located you won’t spend hours in traffic traveling from one part of the city to the other.
