spiritual cleansing, a truly peaceful hideaway

It has always been my wish to stay at a log cabin (we are from Hong Kong, the concrete jungle), so finally my wish came true.
A hideaway it is! As it is about 15 minutes from the main road, with scarcely anything in between. The first night we drove there, we thought we had gotten lost. But we were soon rewarded with utmost peace and quiet, not even were we bothered by our phones and blackberry messages as there in this hideaway, we have no reception, despite we have AT&T, verizon and Straight Talk! But this peace really helped us concentrate on our work as a result.
We were grateful that the owner had installed a couple of aircondition units in the cabin just before our arrival and that certainly helped keep the heat out during the day and morning hours. Even though the structure is 20 some years old, Steve, the caretaker certainly did a marvelous job in keeping it serviced and clean.
Overall, the fondness of this cabin and its environment grows on us and by the time we need to move on, we truly do miss it! I hope shortly in the not too far distant future, we can all go back and enjoy another round of spiritual cleansing.
Owner's Response: Luckily all guests are provided with fast internet access at the Moab Hideaway where they can use Skype and other internet calling services if their cell phone providers do not reach the Moab Hideaway. In addition, there is a landline available for local and domestic calls within the United States. The newly installed $12,000 air conditioning system has been a big hit!
