Enjoy a recently renovated upstairs one bedroom apartment that feels like a secluded treehouse, yet is only minutes away from Napa’s fine dining, wineries, shopping and the Silverado Trail. Watch unforgettable sunsets while you enjoy a glass of wine on the shady patio overlooking the valley and downtown Napa. This quiet guesthouse is situated on a two acre property where you can often spot deer, wild turkeys, hawks and other wild life.

The light filled apartment is decorated with modern furnishings and unique contemporary works of art. The updated kitchen is fully equipped and linens are provided. There is cable TV, broadband WiFi, use of washer and dryer and ample outdoor parking.

About Stephen Whisler

Stephen and Sabine are artists and designers who recently moved to Napa in 2008, after having lived in Manhattan for 27 years. They are both widely traveled and fluent in German. The main house, which they recently renovated, was featured in California Home & Design magazine. They enjoy entertaining and discovering the unique pleasures of the Napa Valley.

I stayed for two weeks with my new wife on our honeymoon. The hosts are wonderful and very informative. The view is to die for and had us entertained for hours. The apartment was very spacious and offered us privacy on our stay. The area is very quiet and dark in the evenings. Well furnished and decorated it was comfortable to relax in while not wine tasting or sampling the local dining. The kitchen is more than adequate for cooking breakfasts or full dinner meals.

Less than 5 minutes from downtown Napa. Most wineries are with in a 10 - 30 minute drive. I am highly recommending this place to a few of our friends that enjoy wine and need a get away spot for a week or two. Next time we come, we will be staying here again without question.

My wife and I really enjoyed the spacious guest house and the delightful hosts, Stephen and Sabine. The view from atop the hill overlooks Napa and the setting is very peaceful. We found the accommodations very comfortable and the Whislers are a great source of information on the best to see and do in the area. We definitely will return and stay there again!

Excellent location in Napa

Great guest house in Napa, far up in the hills east of the town. Great views of the town. Apartment is extremely comfortable - perfect for two people on-the-go. We stayed for two nights and really appreciated this place as our base, since it was extremely quiet when we got back late at night. Very modern decor, with ample amounts of books and cd's (in case you're going to stay inside). TV is small - but who watches tv in Napa when you can be out sampling the food and wine of the area all day/night?

Stephen was great in the short time we spent with him - imagine he could give you a few recommendations around the area if you needed them, seemed well-informed. Highly recommend the place, would love to try to stay here if/when we return to Wine Country.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
