Our home is yours during our vacations abroad - we vacate leaving it professionally cleaned and fully equipped for your ease and comfort. It is a hundred year old home with airy rooms and modern design. We are located in a leafy neighborhood a block from Back Bay's walking and cycling trails, 2 miles to the heart of downtown Portland, ~20 minutes drive to many renowned Maine beaches.

Wifi, fireplace, washer/dryer and all amenities are included.

Kitchen is fully equipped with many condiments, wine glasses, and all that is required for the serious cook. Kitchen appliances include JennAir gas oven/stove, Bosch dishwasher, and on the deck a Weber propane bbq. All linens are provided, hotel ready.

This is a great environment for a family and friends' gathering.

The yard is fenced, private, and shady. There is parking in the driveway for two vehicles.

We've rented another of our homes for more than 15 years and are accustomed to catering to the discerning traveler. We are committed to your comfortable, hassle free experience in our home.

The neighborhood is lovely, near to the city center but within walking distance of several parks. Cycling is especially desirable in Portland, as everything is within a couple of miles, trails are often oceanside, and cycling lanes are safe.

Portland itself has become renowned for its foodie culture, but equally as appealing is the arts scene with great galeries, live music, and street festivals. Many of Maine's most famous beaches are a short drive away, and the Casco Bay islands an easy ferry ride.

What makes this house unique

The yard is particularly lovely and private for an in-town location. The location is convenient to so much of what Portland and Maine is all about, but once here, you might just want to hang out in the yard and barbeque some of our rightly famous local foods!

Our family (nine of us from 9 months to 63) all met at this wonderful getaway in Portland. The city, beaches, amusement parks, whale watching, hiking, shopping - everything was within reach. The house was perfect - very clean and inviting. It exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful week.

This comfortable home was the perfect base for my family's fun in Portland Maine. The property's description was quite accurate. The over-sized granite counter made for a cozy dinner space; the backyard provided a quiet and lovely green space with ample seating; the kitchen offered condiments and many extra supplies; information was provided to answer any question you might have.

Overall, It was a lovely, clean home. The community and area offered many attractions. Some of these activities included the Allagash Brewery Tour, cheering the Portland SeaDogs to victory, taking the Mailboat around Casco Bay to the neighboring islands, whaling, visiting the LL Bean flagship store in Freeport and joining the fun crew on board The Lucky Catch Lobster Boat!!!

Dealing with the owner was enjoyable and hassle-free! We heartily recommend this property for anyone visiting the Portland area!
