This house was built in 1977 with the great lake view and right on the water.

Even though it was built in 1977 some of the furniture reflects the 'retro' style from this era.

This house sits right on Lake Livingston and has a great water front view. Sleeps 10 plus. More than 10 plus would need to have owner's permission. Even though the house is on the water the pier is coming soon, the owner does offer a fishing/boat house less than a mile away that has 2 boat slips for all guest to use.

The 42 ft pier with a 16x16 platform is now complete with boat dock on the water.

Perfect Getaway!

This was the perfect place to get away for a mini vacation. The house was large, slept a lot of people, air conditioning that worked good, lots of TVs, huge outside deck and your own pier. The neighborhood restaurant was within walking distance and had good food as well. Being able to fish off the pier was fun and lots of fish to catch too! The kids loved it as much as the adults. I will definitely be going back. Thank you!

House not clean

I do not feel we got the value for money paid - house was dirty, spider webs everywhere and couldn't see out the back windows until I cleaned them myself. Tables not dusted.. I plan to write the owner a detailed letter.
Owner's Response: This vacation rental has been in business since march 2012, We take great pride in keeping the unit clean and fresh for all guest, unfortunately being in a lake environment we have no control over bugs or spiders and thier webs outside, housekeeping and Matiance pressure wash the property on a regular basis as we do all our homes, House keeper arrives promptly after each guest leaves to clean home and arrives again before each guest stays to refresh home. Owner also does spot checking of each home after house keeping, to ensure each home is clean and fresh for next guest.This guest gave the owner no oppturnuity to correct any problems that she may have experienced, in other words no calls were made to the housekeeper or owner. We also have a professional company that treats all homes inside and out every three months.

Awesome place to stay!

Several members of my family have stayed on different occasions and deemed it the most relaxing and enjoyable get away ever!! The day we returned home from our weekend I called and booked the place again for the following month! It is very large and homey, with everything you need except food. We rate this a 5 star vacation you have to enjoy for yourself!!
