DELIGHTFUL COUNTRY HOUSE WITH POOL IN UMBRIA, 3 BEDROOMS, SLEEPS 6

It was great, we loved it so much! The house is warm and lovely, the view is breathtaking and the landlords are charming. The only drawback was the geusts bathroom but all in all this is one of the best places we've been to.

Casalini hosts Sandro and Rosamaria are simply the warmest and most considerate hosts imaginable. Their home has been carefully appointed with exceptional taste and attention to decor and detail. Nothing fussy--just thoughtfully arranged and very cozy.

Each room blends modern comfort and rustic charm. From every window your view is an Eden-like vision of fig and olive trees, floating butterflies, rolling hills and exotic local flora and fauna.

City dwellers should keep in mind that as a country home, Casalini offers an authentically memorable rural experience: fresh air, breath-taking views, and lovely quiet outdoor spaces--but is not impervious to the occasional cricket or little beetle making a indoor visit.

Narni the town is likewise magical and charming, with mysterious, winding medieval roads and delightful restaurants and shops. Neighboring Umbrian towns--such as Todi, Treni, Orvieto and many more are all only a short drive away (30 minutes to an hour), making Casalini an ideal place to call home.

We were completely enchanted by our entire trip and would be thrilled to stay here again!

Suffice to say we enjoyed ourselves so much that it was a tearful farewell from the family. Bryce and Luc had named at least 8 of the kittens and had got down pantomine routines of Madagascar the movie each afternoon at the plunge pool! More seriously though we had a wonderful week: the serenity, light at dusk, proximity to the beautiful towns of Todi, Orvieto and Assisi, myriad flavors of Gelato, simple local ingredients and above all the understated elegance of the facilities the house and graciousness of Rosamaria and Sandro was peerless. All was accurately described, meticulously clean and would recomend this to anyone seeking to really escape from it all yet be close to so many wonderful sights.
