This apartment is situated in a lovely area of Chelsea, near Chelsea Square, and just a five minute walk from the Kings Road.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a secure apartment building, and has a living room with divan and two armchairs with room for a leaf table and four chairs for dining; there is a wall mounted TV and wi fi access. The double bedroom has a built in wardrobe,wall mounted TV, and like the living room, there is good natural lighting streaming through the window. There is a modern shower bathroom, and a modern kitchen with built in units (washing machine, washer/dryer, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer).
Chelsea has had a lively and colourful history and is still as trendy as it was in the 1960s. Enjoy the many bars boutiques and restaurants. Within easy distance are Knightsbridge with its famous Harrods, Hyde Park/Kensington Park and the Serpentine - the list goes on.
Both Sloane Square and South Kensington tube stations are a ten minute walk away from which you can access all of London's extensive transport network.
Chelsea has its own Theatre (the Royal Court Theatre) and live music venue (Cadogan Hall), both at Sloane Square. You are also near to the Royal Albert Hall boasting not only the big music events but enjoy live jazz in the evening while eating in the Edgar Room, or live music while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee at the Café Consort.
London has a two thousand year history, so you can see remains of Roman London, through to modern London. The sights of world renown are many - Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace; and London's well known shopping centres - Harrods, Carnaby Street, Oxford Street - are just waiting for you to do some therapy shopping. Within easy distance are such sights as Stratford upon Avon.

There are national heritage sites such as Windsor Castle, Hampton Court. Although we don't have a Mediterranean climate, the weather is generally mild.

Within a stone's thrown can be found bars and restaurants galore, prestige shopping (Harrods, etc.), history (Buckingham Palace, House of Parliament, Museums and Art Galleries galore, Tower of London, London Eye ect ect). The King's Road became famous as the 'in' place in the 60s with many pop starts and other celebrities making it their home, and to this day retains its special character. Every which way are to be found historic buildings, museums and art galleries.

Just a 10 minute underground journey brings you to Leicester Square and the West End. The apartment is the ideal location for both tourists and business people alike. There are supermarkets, banks, boutiques, bars and restaurants galore along the Kings Road. On Saturdays there is a delightful farmers' market in Duke of York Square. Further out are wonderful outings to Kew Gardens, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Royal Greenwich etc.
The West End of London, Soho and Bloomsbury boast 30 plus theatres so you could watch a new show every night for a month and still have some left over! There are music venues suited to every taste, street extravaganzas like the Notting Hill Carnival, regular highlights such as the Chelsea Flower Show and Wimbledon Lawn-Tennis Finals - the list goes on and on. Access to all places is easy with the very comprehensive and regular London Transport bus and subway system - even better, walk!
