This beautiful house, which is steps from Lake Tahoe, was the site of a
recent reunion of some great friends from my days at UC Santa Barbara.
The house was perfect! The living and dining areas are very comfortable and are
great for a group of 8 - 12 people. The upstairs game room (complete with a
pool table and Ms Pac Man machine [no quarters required]) was great for late
night fun.
Can't say enough about the views! From inside the living room, there are three
large (8' x 6') windows that look out over Lake Tahoe. Immediately behind this
living room is an outside sitting area with a high end grill, propane-driven
fire pit, and a hot tub, all of which sit 20 feet from a beach and Lake Tahoe.
This beach is ideal! Nice sandy beach slopes gently into the water and you
probably have to venture out 300 feet to be getting into water over your head. This is not a rock bottom, but a very inviting sand bottom that would be perfect
for summer swimming....particularly with kids of all ages. The water was a bit
cold (to say the least) in February, but would be perfect in summer!
This house is a bit pricy for sure. However, this house is perfect for making
memories with old friends and family, and is absolutely worth the price of
admission. What a special place! If you want to spend a great week or weekend
in Tahoe, I highly recommend this property!
