Villaluz is a historic villa completely renovated frontline beach in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz).

Built in 1920, is a Villaluz summer at the seaside for the court of the Duke of Orleans villas. It was designed by the architect Aníbal González mixing style watchtowers merchants Sanlúcar pioneers in trade with the 'New World', with the wine cellars of the town and the Sherry region where s' amount Manzanilla, Fino, Pedro Ximénez where.

The house has been completely renovated and offers a very modern and comfortable. Marble floors and underfloor heating makes it very pleasant in winter and summer. All rooms have large windows with views of the sea where the garden. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. It is large and bright and overlooks a dining room really nice. There are terraces and sunny outdoor areas at any time of the day.

His name Villaluz is linked to the cult of twilight which dates from the time of peoples and phénicians Tartessians, marvel at the beautiful sunsets and the special light of these coasts.

Sanlúcar enjoys an exceptional climate throughout the year, with more than 3100 hours of sunshine a year and a temperature between 15 and 25 º C.

Excellent accommodation and location- recommended

the house was spacious well equipped and very relaxing and contibuted greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday. The owners who live next door were delightful and very helpful. We were a three generation family and everyone loved Sanlucar -plenty to do lovely beach and excellent bars and restaurants. We also made use of the bicycles at the house which was an added bonus. Would love to go back.

Villaluz, es luz, que invade toda la casa hasta las maravillosas puestas de sol, muy bonita arquitectónicamente y perfectamente ubicada.
Se respira solera, elegancia y buen gusto combinados con los elementos decorativos, además de comodidad y funcionalidad que buscamos en unas vacaciones son elementos a destacar.
Sus diferentes estancias, el jardín y las terrazas permiten hasta “la independencia” de la propia familia en un momento dado con un buen libro o simplemente el silencio de contemplar el mar.
Agradecer a Concha que más que “la dueña de la casa” ha sido una gran anfitriona proporcionándonos todo lo necesario, sus obsequios de bienvenida y su disponibilidad.
Un placer haber disfrutado de la villa y por supuesto altamente recomendable.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft: sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden in dieser Unterkunft. Herrlich ist der Blick vom Balkon auf die Flussmündung, v.a. abends bei Sonnenuntergang. Sehr angenehm auch die verschiedenen Terrassen, ausgestattet mit bequemen Sitzmöbeln, die auch bei Wind, Sonne und Hitze einen angenehmen Aufenthalt draußen sichern. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist gut, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Stadtzentrum sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr angenehm die zwei Fahrräder, die zum Haus gehören. Die Kommunikation im Vorwege war gut, der Empfang sowie die Betreuung vor Ort sehr freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

In den zurückliegenden Jahren haben wir schon in vielen Ferienwohnungen Urlaub gemacht. Das Haus von Concha, der Eigentümerin, gehört mit zum Besten, was wir kennengelernt haben. Schon im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation für die Urlaubsvorbereitung über ihren Sohn Àlvaro, der bestens Deutsch spricht, ausgezeichnet. Besonders hilfreich ist eine Karte von Sanlucar de Barrameda, in die er POIs eingezeichnet hat.
Noch nie zuvor haben wir eine Landlady getroffen, die am Ankunftstag mit ihrem strahlenden Lächeln, signalisierte: Ihr seid als Freunde willkommen, der Urlaub kann sofort beginnen, fühlt euch wie zuhause. Concha erklärte uns das Haus mit allen Details. Wir möchten hier nur die perfekte Ausstattung der Küche, den herrlichen Blick auf die Mündung des Guadalquivir und die verschiedenen Terrassen erwähnen, deren unterschiedliche Ausrichtung Sonnenhungrige von Sonnenauf- bis –untergang ohne Unterbrechung auf ihre Kosten kommen lassen. Das Haus ist leise gelegen und so sauber, wir hätten überall vom Fußboden essen können. Es ist ein Doppelhaus, dessen rechte Hälfte von Concha und ihrem Ehemann bewohnt wird. Das ist sehr angenehm für Fragen, die erst später auftauchen.
Die „strategische“ Lage des Hauses ist gut: Es ist am Stadtrand gelegen, dennoch ist ein großer Supermarkt in 10 Minuten, das Stadtzentrum in 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Für einen Ausflug z.B. in die weißen Dörfer nutzten wir unseren Leihwagen, ansonsten ist ein Busbahnhof in 15 Minuten Gehweg zu erreichen. Die Verbindungen sind zahlreich, eine manchmal lästige Parkplatzsuche z.B. in Cadiz entfällt.
Zu schnell ging unser Urlaub zu Ende. Gern hätten wir ihn, wenn wir Zeit gehabt hätten, verlängert. Doch das erneute Verbringen von Ferien bei Concha ist ja nicht ausgeschlossen.

Villaluz is located at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River on the Atlantic Ocean opposite the Doñana National Park (World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO). Beside the house is the old port linking Spain with the Americas and from which went Magallanes and Elcano in 1519 for the first round of the world. Today it is a port used for traditional fishing.

Sanlucar de Barrameda is 25 minutes from Jerez International Airport.

The range of 'Piletas' front of the house every summer since 1860 the famous international horse racing' Carreras de Caballos de Sanlúcar.

The old quarter of Sanlúcar de Barrameda offers a rich historical and architectural heritage because of its trade with the Americas. The Barrio Alto (high neighborhood) is crowned by the Castle of Santiago, the palaces of the nobility, merchants and wine cellars. Living in the Barrio Bajo "(slum) with the always lively 'Plaza del Cabildo' and fishermen's neighborhood of" Bajo de Guía one can taste the best tapas and wines and delicious fresh fish.

In addition to enjoying the historical heritage of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, its wonderful sunsets and the tranquility of its beaches, you can also:
