A Beautiful Ocean Front Villa. Furnished with decorative art from around the world. Ideal situation for family reunions, weddings and gathering of friends. Affords privacy with large entertainment areas. Situated on tranquil Taylor Bay, the southern shores of Providenciales, with two private boat docks and access to two private tennis courts - your very own estate! Short swim to a pristine beach. A popular destination for those who wish to escape. Come and enjoy the serenity, the unbelievable turquoise water and magnificent sunsets.
Hi Louise, I wanted to let you know we had a wonderful stay at Villa Vieux Caribe! The house was great and the location and views spectacular! Thank you for making your beautiful home available to us. Just perfect.
Also, just so you know, Anika from the management company was very helpful. Also, we had Captain Bill take us out and he did a nice job. Clive from Bay Bistro came over and did a dinner, I would recommend them to anyone else who is looking for a catered dinner, they did a superb job! Finally, we had a cab driver named Ricky take us around in the evenings the entire time we were there. I would highly recommend him if you have any other guests who are looking to schedule someone. His information is Ricky's Taxi,
Thanks again - hopefully we will have another opportunity to visit Turks again soon! Thanks for all your help.
This was a paradise holiday filled with fabulous memories shared with inspiring girlfriends.
Vieux Caribe is in an excellent location, private and quiet but in easy distance of all local amenities. A car is a must but taxis are very reilable. We had a driver called Dudley who was ever punctual, polite and endearing.
The house itself is magnificent. It has a comfortable homely feel with an ample dose of luxury and sophistication. The rooms are light, airy and spacious with breath-taking views from the numerous balconies. The restful beds induce restorative sleep. It was a delight to be woken by the gentle lapping waves and rustling of leaves as the sunlight glinted through the shutters. I particularly loved the layout of the house. There are plenty of places for privacy and shade but also ideal seating, sunbeds and tables for interacting with friends and family. Every amenity is to hand in the well designed, user friendly kitchen. I learnt how to use a pineapple de-corer whilst there! The BBQ came in useful for a delicious dinner one balmy evening. The deck by the boat mooring as an idylic spot for yoga practice before sunset. There is no more perfect way to begin the day. Better still, you can just slip into the calm waters at the end of the deck and swim to the sandy shores just a few feet away or swim further out in safety.
The property is exceptionally well maintained throughout and spotlessly clean. Louise, the owner provided excellent customer service and offered many good tips for local attractions. She has a warm demeanour and was a delight to deal with.
We particularly enjoyed a boat trip from Salt at Leewood, snorkelling on the reef and a picnic on a deserted, unspoilt beach. Baci, an authentic Italian restaurant served excellent food in a buzzy atmosphere; Coco Bistro was another favourite with its lighted grotto of palm trees and delicious lobster. We shared coconut prawn tapas and an assortment of other delicious morsels at Las Brisas in Chalk Sound whist absorbing the view of the surrounding gorgeous, azure blue sea. All idylic.
Shopping at salt Mills and Regent Village supplied ample retail therapy and we returned with rum cake, jewellery, papaya chutney and more to keep us warm on chilly days in the UK.
I would highly recommend View Caribe. It is a perfect holiday desination for a family or a group of friends. Writing now makes me long to be back there.I felt that I had been transported to Paradise.
My family - in fact three generations of us travelled from the UK to stay at Vieux Caribe in December 2013 and it was worth travelling everyone of those miles, because we had such a fabulous and memorable holiday. We all felt at home immediately, which is always a great start to any holiday. The villa was spacious, immaculately clean with everything we needed, from air conditioning in every room, ample sunbeds, superb kitchen and dining facilities, towels, and really comfortable beds. The villa was private and peaceful, without feeling isolated and it was within easy access of shops and restaurants. Though a car is essential, we also recommend using Dudley the private taxi driver for a safe and comfortable ride to the local restaurants..The accommodation is right on the waters edge, which made swimming, snorkelling, or just sitting on the dock with a cocktail watching the amazing sunsets a dream. We all enjoyed some lovely massages and body treatments round the pool, from 2 lovely mobile 'Spa ladies'. Anthea's head and neck massage is to be recommended. Whilst we loved our family candle-lit dinners round the pool (you can hire a fabulous chef called Dave and he will cook your dinner without you having to lift a finger.) we also had some fabulous meals at Baci, (authentic Italian restaurant ) Tiki Hut (gorgeous locally caught fish) and Coco Bostro (a must) and Bugaloo's (lovely restaurant on the beach) The grand - parents enjoyed relaxing, the kids loved using the tennis courts, (2 minutes walk behind the villa) swimming in the pool, snorkelling and learning to dive (there are some excellent diving schools on the island) and we chilled because everyone was safe and happy. We will definitely be returning to Vieux Caribe, because we know we are guaranteed a safe, relaxing holiday, surrounded by warm turquoise waters, in a spacious and extremely comfortable accommodation.
It certainly ticked all the boxes for us. Highly Recommended.
10 of us (ranging in age from 4 to 71) spent our spring break at Villa Vieux Caribe, and it could not have worked out better. The layout of the house was ideal, with everyone enjoying a great view from their bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was great to be able to eat breakfast and lunch there. We used the pool a ton, and there is ample seating outside, both for relaxing and for dining. While it is a quick walk to the beach, we usually just went down the steps by the dock and walked or swam (depending on time of day) across the boat channel. Taylor Bay was beautiful, and it was perfect for our 3 young children- calm and shallow. There were usually only a handful of people a the beach- so nice! There are 2 tennis courts just off the path to the beach that we had access to, and they were very nicely maintained. We used 2 of the kayaks and paddled to Sapodilla Bay- very fun. Plenty of beach towels were provided at the villa. The villa was clean, though some of the furnishings were starting to show signs of wear (many of the blinds were broken, some of the lamp shades fell down when touched, a second washer/dryer set was broken, etc.- nothing that interfered with our overall enjoyment, though). Each bedroom is air-conditioned, and the A/C is quite effective; we only used it 1 or 2 of the nights, as it was pleasant without it most of the time. The house is attractively furnished, very nicely landscaped, and just really pleasant. My family of 5 stayed in the 3rd-floor bedrooms, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The photos online provide an accurate idea of what you'll be getting; we were not disappointed!
We went out for dinner each night. Restaurants we particularly enjoyed were Las Brisas (really close to the villa, wonderful view of Chalk Sound, and good food), The Flamingo Cafe (beautiful view at sunset & excellent curried grouper), & Bugaloo's (another local dive like Flamingo Cafe, with delicious conch fritters and conch salad; really nice outdoor setting, right on the beach). We also liked Lemon Cafe (Mediterranean food for something different, with great service that was really quick by island standards). The full moon beach BBQ at Bay Bistro was great!
6 of us decided to try SNUBA, which I would highly recommend. My 9-year-old daughter went with us, and she took to it immediately and had an amazing experience.
Louise, the villa owner, was really helpful. We would highly recommend staying at Vieux Caribe!!!
Providenciales - the last best kept secret of the Caribbean? Quite possibly. Grace Bay Beach is voted year on year one of the top 10 in the world by Conde Nast readers and the best in 2011. Snorkeling and diving experiences are some of the best. Fishing to suit all standards. Self catering or dining out the choice of food surpasses many exclusive destinations. The island is approx. 14 miles long so no where is far from anywhere.
