Calypso has the most desired location in Panama City Beach. It is directly across the street from the famed Pier Park with its 150+ shops, restaurants, etc. The new pier is adjacent to Calypso and offers the most excellent view of events such as concerts, fireworks, etc. The Beachchair/Umbrella Service which consists of two padded chairs and one large umbrella set up by the beach attenddant is free to our guests in season (March 1-Oct 31.)

The Mediterrean Colors and Architecture of Calypso make it simply lovely from miles away. The emerald waters and sugar white sands are the makings of the endearing appeal of Panama City Beach.
About Beverly Taylor

I am Beverly Taylor, retired teacher, principal and assistant superintendent of Pike County Schools in AL. My husband is Johnny Taylor, retired Coca Cola Bottling manager. After retiring,in 1989, we bought commercial and residential rental property in Troy, a college town.and are still renting. We absolutely loved our first careers and the rental business. It was therefore, quite natural that we migrated to the beach to try our hand at purchasing and managing condos. What an adventure life has been and still is.We love people and enjoy offering quality vacation property. We also own and help operate our restaurant located in a 100-year old mule barn that we as a family converted. As you might expect it is 'Old Barn Restaurant' and has been featured in numerous publications.

I think that Calypso is the most beautiful complex on Panama City Beach. I love the rich colors and the columns. It is well constructed and managed and is ideally located across the street from the famous 'Pier Park' which has over 150 restaurants, shops, and Miracle Strip for the kids. It is ideally located for those who fly in from the new NW Florida Beaches International Airport.and don't want to rent a car. It is an easy walk to Margaritaville Tootsie's, The Grand Theatre, Dilliards, Penny's, etc. A new huge Wal-Mart will be opening soon.

What makes this condo unique

Located adjacent to the new pier where so many attractions like concerts and firework displays occur. Sit on the balcony and enjoy the pier shows and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the world. Pier Park is across the street making it an easy walk to over 150 shops, restaurant, Grand Theatre, Wall Mart, Penny's Dilliards, etc.

I have to say that everything was perfect from the time we arrived til the day we left. The condo was clean, stocked appropriately and the perfect location. Having beach chairs included the price of the condo was a great amenity. My 2 kids and I will definitely be renting off of Beverly again. By far the best place to rent and if you do rent from Beverly you won't regret your decision.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Much needed vacation!

I just left Fri 5/10/13 and will have to say was the best condo I have personally stayed in, the view is breath taking, the condo was very clean and well worth the price, was there for 5 nights and never ran out of things to do especially being right across from pier park. I would def recommend this place and will use Beverly again, she was always available for any questions I had.

A wonderful honeymoon

First of all the condo owner was so nice and wonderful to work with, answered any and every question we had. The condo what not only clean and beautiful but was the best location we could've possibly asked for beautiful view easy access to everything and is right on the beautiful beach which is also very easy to walk right out on. There is so many amazing things to do once your ready for dinner or a shopping trip because your within walking distance to every restaurant and store in the beautiful pier park which is very convenient. Also we went on the dolphin tour to shell island on jet skis and if you like being on the water I highly recommend it because it was amazing and a memory I will never forget (LOVED IT). Thanks for the amazing week and we will definitely be back. I recommended it to all my friends and my family. Hands down my favorite trip to Florida!!!

Reservations and arrangements with the owners went extremely well. The unit is as pictured. Updated and modern in design. Location is excellent! Closed to Pier Park and away from the main cruising strip. Very family oriented resort. One thing I would recommend is a thorough cleaning. The baseboards are dusty and the bathrooms has some mildew buildup. The wireless is not working at all. Overall, it is a great place and would be back next year.

My wife and I spent New Years weekend in Beverly's condo at the Calypso and had a wonderful time. It's a perfect location with a front row seat for the fireworks and just a couple of minutes walking distance to the shops and restaurants at Pier Park. The condo was everything as discribed and very clean and comfortable. We are already planning our next trip and will be contacting Beverly again. Beverly, thank you for everything and we look forward to staying in your condo again.
