Enjoy all the best the Cape has to offer from this centrally located comfortable home at the end of a kid friendly, quiet cul-de-sac.
The home features three bedrooms and sleeps 6(2 full beds, three twins). Enjoy your morning coffee and see the sun come up on the east facing porch and watch the birds at the nearby feeders. The sunny eat-in kitchen is well stocked with all your cooking needs and has a dishwasher, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster and microwave. For entertainment the house has two LCD TV's, a DVD player, HD cable and wireless internet access and a well stocked bookcase. An outdoor shower makes the post-beach clean-up a little easier and the home has a washer and dryer in the basement and fans in every room. The rental fee includes household towels, linens, beach towels, beach chairs and necessary paper(TP,towels,tissues)and soaps. Owner is allergic, so pets and smoking are not allowed. There is no phone.
A short drive will get you to some of the best beaches on the Cape; 6 miles to the expansive bay side beaches(Corporation, Mayflower) and 4.5 miles to West Dennis beach. Young children will also enjoy the tranquil Princess Beach on Scargo Lake. After the beach, relax with a cold drink on the large sunny back deck, or enjoy a book in one of the shady spots in the private back yard. Grill up dinner on the gas grill(provided) and then take the kids for ice cream at the Sundae School in nearby Dennisport.
Need a break from the beach? A walk to the end of the street provides easy access to the shady Cape Cod Rail Trail, for biking, running, walking or skating. Or challenge the kids to game of wiffleball in the cul-de-sac. Golfers will enjoy the driving range .3 miles away, or can make the short 4 mile ride to either the Dennis Highlands or Dennis Pines courses. Baseball lovers can support the Cape Cod League's Dennis team, but we think it is worth it to make the drive to Chatham to see the Chatham A's play under the lights at their home field. Kayakers can enjoy Scargo Lake or you can rent a kayak or paddleboat 1 mile away and explore the Swan River. Summer is a great time for movie releases and the Dennis Cinema is less than 1 mile away.
All your basic shopping needs are less than 1 mi. away at Patriots Square. Dennis and nearby Yarmouth have numerous affordable restaurants.
