We've both grownup on along the beach. West Coast for me and North East Coast for my husband, but nothing compares to the world famous sugar white sand beaches and emerald waters of Destin. Friends introduced our family to Destin in 2005 and we fell in love, hoping to one day own a beach house that we could share with family, old friends, and new friends. Six of us stayed at the Plantation House in mid April. We had an amazing time and the house was wonderful. It was located amazingly close to the beach and allowed us to easily go back and forth from the beach to the house.

The home had a great audio system that was wired inside and out. We loved having music going everywhere. We were rained out one day but the men kept busy in the large game room while us women went shopping in nearby malls.

This was a much needed relaxing trip. I couldn't imagine a better house to stay in. Thanks so much for letting stay in your amazing home!

Christmas vacation family reunion

Our family had a wonderful stay at Plantation House for our Christmas family reunion. We came from Arizona, Texas, Alabama, and central Florida to enjoy a week together. Plantation House was a perfect house for us, and we really appreciated the instant response from Randy the property manager when we had a issue with the dishwasher. We had 8 adults and 5 children and we used every inch of this beautiful home. The kitchen was perfect for the big holiday meals that we cooked. The house is so well equipped and comfortable that we lacked for nothing. And the location is excellent with easy walking distance access to the beach and a short drive to all manner of great shopping and entertainment options. We really enjoyed the antique shops that we discovered on the Emerald Coast Pkwy and brought home some treasures. We would love to go back to Plantation House sometime and would highly recommend it to others.

I had the good fortune to vacation at “Plantation” in October. As the realtors say: Location! Location! Location! The house is not more than 100 yards from the beach and the gulf – just across the street. Shopping is only a couple of blocks away and there are recreational activities all around. The garage is outfitted as a game room that will make the “kids” of all ages ecstatic.
The house is very nicely furnished--good furniture but not so fancy you can’t relax-- and well equipped -- lots of extra towels and even beach chairs. It has a wonderful music system that allows you to listen to different music in different rooms or by the heated pool.
We had no problems while we were there but were provided with all the contacts if we needed help. We are already planning a return trip to this house. If I could give it SIX stars I would!

Great Vacation Spot and House

Lovely house, well laid out. Great location, 2 minute walk to beach, chairs and coolers provided. Walking distance of restaurants. Short drive (under 5 minutes) to shop till you drop. Plenty of golf close by.
Or just be lazy and sit by the heated pool with a good book and a cool beverage.
This is a vacation spot for anyone who wants to unwind and this was the perfect house to do it.
