Villa Rindik is approx 1.5hours drive north – up the east coast from Bali’s International and Domestic airport.,
and is located at the southern end of the Village of Candidasa.
Free airport transfers are available if you stay 7 days or more, if less than 7 days it is US$35 each way,
or if paying locally, it is Rp350,000 each way.
The accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - all bedrooms with air-conditioning.
The kitchen and spacious lounge / dining / reading area is all open plan, with 4 large ceiling fans.
Look out through bi-fold doors to the very inviting pool which has a large courtyard setting complete
with tropical flower beds and pots.
At the end of the main pool area, step up to a elevated section, which has a gazebo with table and
chairs plus sun beds that can be moved in or out of the direct sun as needed.
Beyond the gazebo is your ocean view, which can be seen all the way from the lounge room inside.
Our bright and happy staff are ready and waiting to look after your every need.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a nice cool and refreshing tropical fruit drink, together with
the sound of Rindik music (hence the Villa name), which is a combination of traditional Balinese
bamboo and flute music, while you settle into the comfortable suroundings of Villa Rindik.
This traditional music can also be played in the morning while you are having your breakfast.
Speaking of breakfast, this is included in your stay at Villa Rindik, be it 3 days, 7 days, or more.
It can be served at a time that suits you, either in the dining room inside the villa, or at the gazebo
(where you can see local fishing boats), while watching and listening to the oceans movements
over the pebble beach below - bliss !
Candidasa has a lot to offer the discerning traveller, from beautiful rolling hills on one side
and ocean views on the other - it is picture postcard perfect.
Don’t be confused by the name if you have seen this property in your previous searches,
or if you have stayed here before. The Villa was previously known as Villa Impi-Yannya, named after
the previous owner, Jan from Holland. The sign out front has been changed to Villa Rindik.
The staff remains the same as before, with Nengah still in charge of the day to day running of the Villa.
The staff will be available from 7am through to 3 pm – and security of a night between 9pm and 5am.
Please note we are on call 24 hours should there be an emergency.
The new owners - Geoff & Louise Alderson from Melbourne, Australia welcome you, and wish you
a pleasant stay. Geoff & Louise will be staying in the upstairs section of the Villa at different times
of the year some weeks will be spent back in Australia), but they assure you of your privacy.
If they are there at the same time as you, they look forward to meeting with at some stage during your stay.
Looking up into the hills, you can see old farming terraces (once used for peanut and corn growing),
then with half a turn of your head, you are looking out across the ocean, where you can easily see
Nusa Penida & Nusa Lembongan, and also Lombok far off to your left.
There is also a great mix of shops, from your simple sarong / singlet / t-shirt and shorts type of shops,
to many specialty art / craft type shops with paintings, wood carvings, stone and silver items.
Tie this together with great food outlets for all traveller types, from simple Warung food
(Nasi Goreng / Mie Goreng / Sate etc), through to many mid range cafe's / restaurants and then
the higher end eateries, making your mouth water for anything you like.
Right across the road from your Villa is the Candidasa Bakery, where you can get your
traditional Indonesian food (at very reasonable prices), together with assorted cakes - yum !
The bread you have with your breakfast in the morning is from this bakery.
There are a few mini-marts in town, one just across the road to your right, which stock just
about anything you will need – drinks, snacks, toiletries etc.
There is a few live music venues in town, the closest is the New Queen Pub & Restaurant is just a few min
walk from the villa (across the road / down the street to your right as you head out the gate of the Villa).
You will also find 4 ATM’s now in town, 1 being just across the road to your right, along with cash money
changers (there is a cash money changer at Go Go's silver shop, across the road between the bakery
and the mini-mart).
The Villa is within easy walking distance of everything in the village / town of Candidasa,
- you will not need a car at all to explore the town - which is basically just one long road.
