Enjoy 20 hours of daylight in the land of the midnight sun. Trout stocked lake with abundant wildlife; moose, eagles, water fowl. Large custom fire pit to cozy up to for nights next to the water. Large floating dock to enjoy days on the water in the sun. Close to world class salmon fishing ( Little Susitna River, Deshka River, Kashwitna River, Talkeetna River,Sheep Creek,Montana Creek), all within easy driving distance). Located near miles of ATV trails. Watch local float planes take off and land. Enjoy water sking, tubing, swimming. Big Beaver Lake is relatively shallow so maintains a comfortable temperature during the summer months.

Relaxing Birthday Weekend Getaway

Very hospitable property owners who pleasantly surprised me with a complimentary bottle of Asti, party hat, and glasses for myself and my friends. Loved sitting out at night around the bon fire pit and that it was. It was so nice and once again the property owners had our first fire all set up--we just had to light it. Breakfast and dinner on the dock, beautiful sunrises and sunsets were amazing and peaceful, boat and trout poles ready for us to bait. Very accommodating. Had a nice patch of weather which allowed baking in the sun to give us a natural glow. A little pricey but had quite a few amenities and the hospitality was great! A do over with jet skiis, if I could afford it again.

This was an incredible place to stay! It's nestled in the woods, with a front and back yard that is beautifully landscaped. But most of all, the view of the lake from inside the cabin, front porch or the dock is absolutely stunning! Our view of the lake gave us the morning mist, the daylight sun and the evening sunsets with the smooth, flat water that was perfect for our evening swims. One morning, I heard a man that lives across the lake come out to the end of his dock and play his bagpipes. It was surreal. Occasionally, you have floatplanes that take off and land. It was just a nice little getaway and I recommended for anyone who is wanting to experience Alaska nestled in the woods.

Peacefull Retreat

My husband and I stay here with another couple back in July of 2011. My favorite time was going out to the dock in the morning drinking my coffee and watching the sunrise, listening to the birds or watching the birds play on the lake. During the day we would go swimming or fishing on the lake or just relax and enjoy a nice nap on the swing. The evenings were quiet and comfortable sitting around the bond fire or enjoying the view from the porch. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable.
