The cottage has a unique layout which is more upscale and high end then a typical cottage at Beach Dreams. It has beautiful stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors throughout. It is decorated beautifully and is the perfect get away. How nice to be in a luxury hotel with a summer resort outside your door!

Because of the layout this cottage will only accommodate four people comfortable. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds. The living room has plenty of comfortable living space with a flat screen TV on the wall. There is an additional sun room that has a high top glass table for a pleasant eating area.

It has a Jen Air range to enjoy those gourmet breakfasts at home. There is a large front yard with Adirondack chairs that are perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach or plenty of room for playing frisbee while dinner is cooking on the grill. There is also central air conditioning, electric fireplace and the unit abuts the woods. If you are looking for a luxurious vacation get away, this is the place for you!

Beach Dreams is a beautiful community located on 43 acres of land. It has a large main pool area with a hot tub and a kiddie pool. There is a second smaller pool area in the back of the property. There are several other amenities including tennis and bocce courts, a state of the art gym, and wireless internet access.

It is located about 1 mile from Moody Beach and there is a Trolley stop right in front of Beach Dreams that will take you to other area beaches. There is so much to do in this area! There is excellent fishing (stripers and blue fish), biking, boating & kayaking, golfing, beautiful beaches, many-many great restaurants, quaint shops and some of the nicest people you will meet!

We stayed for a week at Kathleen's cottage in August and were very satisfied with the stay.

The cabin was immaculate and the pictures in her offering is really accurate to what you will find.

The central air was a godsend in August to escape the heat and humidity, and the washer and dryer came in convenient for washing beach towels dirtied from the great beaches nearby.

Kathleen also provides a BBQ, some beach chairs and beach towels for daily excursions.

Wells, York, Moody and Ogunquit are all villages on a main strip just outside the entrance to the community with all the shopping and entertainment conveniences available. Note: these all tend to close early, typically 8pm with some open til 10.

The community was very child friendly and quiet. This is not the place to be if you are looking for a wild party.

Our only, very minor, complaints were with the community administration.

The entrance to the community is not very visible and night arrivals can be tricky. We passed it by on our first attempt. And once or twice during our stay despite knowing exactly where it is.

Arrival at night can be tricky as the gate watchman frequently goes on rounds and there's no one to let you in through the gate.

Numbering on the cottages were not clear and the maps given seem to be dated, and despite referring to block names like "Sand Castle Village" there are no, few or few visible signs to indicate such.

As you can see these community complaints aren't enough for us to give Kathleen's place anything less than a five star.

Wonderful holiday, beautiful cottage

We spent a wonderful week at Beach Dreams. The cottage (really a small luxury house!) was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and close to everything. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub in the evening. The tennis court was great for early morning exercise. The whole property is well-managed, quiet and maintained impeccably.

We would certainly return and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

Beautiful Cottage!

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful cottage! The listing was very accurate and great communication with Kathleen about the rental process and when we were there. The upgrades on this cottage like hardwood floors, the unusual layout and the upgraded kitchen make this a special place to spend your vacation. The security in the resort is great and are the pool, gym area and clubhouse. It is close to everything we wanted to do. We would defiantly rent again from Kathleen and this cottage if it is up for rent next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

LOVELY STAY

Fully equipped! Everything we needed was there from kitchen tools to a washer and dryer. We couldn't ask for more as far as comfort goes. Not too far from the beautiful pools and club house (games, entertainement and even a well equipped gym). Perfect for families, as you can cook your meals as if you were home. It's also very safe, with a guard at the entrance and passes to go in and out of the resort. Hope to come back next year. Thank you Kathleen for a wonderful stay.
