Adirondack inspired year round lake front cabin

We spent a relaxing week at this rental property and really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our family with two kids and the view was fantastic! Our kids loved fishing from the docks (with the provided poles) and caught over 20 fish in just a couple of days. Catch and release of course!

The cabin is in a quiet location but close enough to anything we wanted to do. It was one exit south (on 87) of Lake George which was about 10 minutes on Route 9. We loved the Lake George fireworks on Thursday night.

Our crew ate breakfast outside overlooking the lake most mornings but chose Sutton's on the rare outings (outdoor dining and fresh cider donuts).

The owner checked in to make sure things were perfect - they were.

The weather was gorgeous and most nights were nice enough to keep the windows open with ceiling fans on low.
The cabin was stocked with all of the basic needs so we only purchased a few groceries. It was great having a washer and dryer on site to reduce the needed clothing to pack.
The cabin has three flat screen TVs to provide different viewing locations.

I looked through a lot of the resorts and hotels and finally decided to stay here. Not the cheapest option out there but if you want an exclusive, private get away from the city and population then this is your best bet. We arrived past midnight, didn't know what to expect but the owner had left the light inside the cabin on for us (wold be nice to have a lighted path too:)) I used my car's headlight to light our way down.

Once inside, it's everything you can expect: cozy, warm atmosphere, clean and welcoming. Kids were ignited instantly! We had a short stay... Wished we can stay longer..... We Cooked our own meal, fished out in our private dock (would be nice If they had canoes and could be rented as an option), cooked out in our private yard over looking the lake ..... Life just doesn't get any better.

Home owner was very attentive, he responded to emails quickly and even calls to follow up just to make sure everything is on point.

The weather was poor when we stayed but we still had tons of fun. I can only imagine the fun we will have if the weather is good.

This is a small cabin, for a family of 4-5 it's perfect. We relaxed to the sound of the rain during our down time, we didn't hear noisy neighbors or tourists. We were in our little world in the middle of no where by a lake.... It's perfect.

Come here to enjoy nature and spending time with your family. For my city kids, they finally got away from their iPad and iPhones and played a game of monopoly and life with me and my wife! A perfect getaway from the city. I shall be back soon.

This was a great place for 6 friends from various destinations to meet up and enjoy the Adirondacks. The lake was quiet and peaceful, and weather was perfect for eating and relaxing outside. Hiking and historical sites were the main themes of our trip and everything was less than an hour away. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc...and it was nice make all of our meals here. Everything was very clean and up-to-date, and it was really helpful that towels and linens were already provided. The next time we come to the area we are definitely staying here again!
