Tossa de Mar Vacation Rental apartment

We hired this appartment in july 2008 and had a marvelous relaxed time. Although we were in the hottest season of the summer, we had a cool atmosphere inside the appartment which was just what we needed after staying at the beach. The appartment is situated on a private piece of land that was develloped at both sides of a lovely bay, just outside Tossa de Mar, 40 years ago. The estate is guided and has its feet at the beach with a wonderful restaurant overlooking the bay (self made paëlla, and fuega lovely shrimp plates and Spanish chilled wines and beers are served), tennis courts in the back of the terrain and jeu de boule (pétang) holes just behind the beach nicely covered with trees. The beach is to be reached via several levels and offers cold water showers to splash the sand away. Mostly the appartments are privately owned and we spoke to several people that had their 25th holiday season there al Calla Salions. And one other big advantage the beach is quit and clean (no dogs aloud).
The appartment itself has three levels and gave us just what we needed in terms of comfort and space. Its casual, playful, for this reason suitable for our family. But might give less comfort to elderly people due to the many stairs (although many owners in there sixties and seventies do not have any problems with climbing the stairs!). The terras has this wonderful sea view and is equipped with a luxurious wooden dining table, chairs and parasol. During the night fishermen ship ancre the seaside. The livingroom is at the same level as the terras and had a fireplace, bookshelves, al genres of music and a stereo/tv/dvd set. The kitchen, situated in the middle floor, is equipped with a good set of pan’s (and cutlery) stove, fridge, washing machine and has a lovely Spanish dinner service, it is spacious and offers enough room for an 8 party dinner to bring friends along. In the lower part, where the entrance is, you will find two bedrooms (one parents double and a bunk bedded room for 2 kids) with large cupboards. The newly decorated bathroom, with toilet and shower, is also at this level and is well equipped.
We can recommend this appartment, for its tastefull atmosphere and the relaxation it gives. 15 kilometres away you will find San Felioux, Platja de Aro, Pals, and a little further Gerona.
