TOP-NOTCH APARTMENT / SLEEPS 1-6 / CANAL VIEW / PRIVATE GARDEN / QUIET & CENTRAL

Good:
The owner picked us up from the airport and took us to the property.
The place was beautifully decorated.
It was clean for the most part.
The property was a 10 minute walk to public transportation.
Bad:
Noisy construction next door. It was in the beginning stages. They were working on the foundation. We could not enjoy the outdoor area because of flying pieces of wood. It was noisy six days a week and started early in the morning.
There was a mix-up with the money transfer for payment of the property. The owner gave me the wrong number to his account, not once but twice. I had to fix the problem while I was there. The owner thought it was my fault, and hounded me until it was fixed.
After I wrote a review about the construction and money transfer issue, he e-mailed asking that I take it off. He realized after I gave him proof that it was he who made a mistake by giving me his wrong bank account number for the money transfer. I did not ask for any monetary settlement, but the owner offered to send a partial refund. However, he said I would have it by the end of the month on August 24th. I have yet to receive the partial refund. It is now October 3rd.
