Located less than 100 yards from an almost private beach where one can whale watch, swim, snorkel, kayak, paddle board, fish, spear fish, sun bathe, walk or jog, wind surf, kite board. We are very close to shopping, specialty shops, super markets, drug stores, banks, nightlife and more than 20 restaurants of all types of cuisines and price ranges.
Kihei Gardens Estates is a quiet and peaceful complex, well maintained and full of Aloha Spirit. The beautifully landscaped property with an inviting pool and spa area enhances one's vacation. There are bbq grills, kitchen facilities and tables located in the gated pool area for your use.

We stayed at this condo for our first visit to Hawaii and hope to come back! Everything was just as it was described. We appreciated all of the beach extras, chairs, beach towels, cooler etc. The location was central to both sides of the island and close to the airport. Also close to grocery, drug store and restaurants. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay here when we return to Maui.
I loved this place.
Pro: The condo had everything we needed. They had beach toys, plenty of sleeping supplies, cooking supplies. The place was clean. The condo is situated in a perfect location. It's one block walk to the beach, short drive to airport/Costco, short drive to anywhere a visitor would like to visit except for northeast drive.
Con: Laundry facility was 10 steps outside the unit instead of inside the unit. Kitchen needs updating, but I had better time in this kitchen than other kitchens that's poorly supplied. The bedroom upstairs does not have a door. It's really a loft space for the second bedroom. The place has wall mounted air conditioner instead of central air conditioner.
Honestly, it was perfect for us with a large family. If I complain of anything such as no central air conditioner, it may just be that I'm spoiled at home instead of the condo being deficient in any way. If we ever come back to Maui again, we would love to stay here again.

Awesome place to stay. This was our first time to Hawaii & the weather was great. All the other comments are right on. This condo is well maintained with many new updates & the price was right. Perfect view from the lanai. Close to the beach, shopping & places to eat are all within walking distance. Quiet, easy to get to everything from this location. Owner lives nearby & I would highly recomend #97143 & hopefully we wll be back soon. Mahalo for the GREAT time!!!!
Loved staying here, and would do so again. The condo is as advertised, and very conveniently located. Near the water, the grocery store, walking distance to some of our favorite eateries (one being Coconuts for their fish tacos - yum!) Near the main street so its convenient, but far enough from it that its not noisy. We drove all over the island from here. The Sunday morning church bells were a nice touch. The place is well-equipped, nice balcony, nice bedrooms, nice bathrooms. Laundry is public but limited to a few units and located very close. Has an air conditioning unit, but we didn't use it except for the 1st night. After that we realized that opening all the well-designed windows made for some very lovely trade wind breezes. The complex pool area also has a nice hot tub and outdoor kitchen. It was a pleasure to deal with the owners - very responsive, efficient and easy going. We accommodated up to 3 adults and 2 kids no problem. Can't wait to go back!
We were on Maui looking at condos to buy, and the units at Kihei Garden Estates were on our favorites list. We were lucky enough to find a place to stay in the same complex, with a sweet ocean view from the lanai. The unit was very comfortable and accommodating - everything we needed or wanted was there - beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, nicely appointed kitchen, very comfortable bed in the loft (we didn't use the downstairs bedroom).
We didn't end up buying in the complex, but it took me a long, long time to be able to walk away from the lovely grassy lawn, the (very!) short walk to the beach, and the proximity to everything we needed. Thank you!!!!!
